I received a call from your company marketing alarms, I spoke to "Angela" the automated attendant and answered her automated questions, then she transferred me to the live rep, Alex McKenzie, he provided the website of www.rrms.com and a call back number of 727-977-256
Rapid Response did not make these telephone calls. Rapid Response also did not authorized anyone to make these telephone calls.
Rapid Response provides central station monitoring services for the customers of its security alarm dealers. Rapid Response does not market or sell its services directly to end-users. Rather, Rapid Response markets to and contracts with security alarm dealers. Those dealers, in turn, market and sell security systems to end-users. Further, Rapid Response’s standard agreement with its dealers contains a confidentiality provision barring disclosure of any information, especially subscriber information, to third parties.

The facts of the matter stay the same,

I wanted them to contact me from their legal dept to discuss unwanted and unsolicited phone call, which they have but are denying they made the call.
As stated previously, we are not making the calls to Mrs. Dudley. Whomever is calling her is using our name illegally. We have traced her phone number in our database and we show no calls to that number from Rapid Response Monitoring Services, Inc.

Rapid Response provides sub contract monitoring services for dealers in the alarm industry. We do not call any individuals or businesses to provide these services, only alarm dealers. We have no record of this person in our system.
I own an alarm system originally purchased from ***. My contract was sold to *** (without notifying me in writing) and is monitored by Rapid Response. On the evening of 9/29/18, I accidentally set of my alarm. Several minutes later (it should have been immediately), I received an automated, IVR call from Rapid Response detecting an alarm event. This IVR message took about a minute. I was asked to alpha-numerically put my code into the phone for ID purposes which I did. I was then asked if I wanted assistance...something like push 1 for yes or 2 for no. This type of service during an alarm event, false or otherwise, is INTOLERABLE! During an alarm event, a live, attentive, reactionary human is what's required, not a machine to help you avert an intruder, if that's the case. I was told by *** to call the monitoring center for assistance, and, conversely told the same by Rapid Response. The classic run-around. After a very kind Rep at *** investigated this for me, it was discovered that, during high call volume, all alarm events are bounced over to this IVR system for processing. WHAT?! You're putting the lives of customers into the hands of automation? So you don't hire enough people to handle the workload and take their money? I was then told that if I opted out of this system and only wanted to speak to a human, any alarm event would be placed into a cue for live assistance and I'd have to wait until I could be helped. WHAT?!??! Wait for help while an intruder (potentially) is trying to attack me, my house, my family...are you serious? I'm waiting to speak to management at either Rapid Response or ***. I'll be researching a new security system for my home.
Rapid Response provides sub contract monitoring services for dealers in the alarm industry. The dealers that we provide monitoring service to choose a service and that is how their customers are monitored, we do not choose whether an account is answered by a "live human" or by an automated process, that is chosen by the alarm dealer, in this case to provide to their customers.
Any and all inquiries into this incident should go directly to *. *contract is with them directly.
Hi -
First, I have been told that is no longer the selling agent.*sold my contract to *. When I call*, they tell me they no longer have my account on file and can't see details. Second, and to make this complaint even worse, Rapid Response (per response above)has sold my monitoring to yet another contractor whom I have yet to know the name and details of. That said, Rapid Response is passing the buck and furthering this run-around and creating more problems in trying to protect my property and family. The above response is totally unacceptable.
This company has my phone # and continues to call me at all hours of the day, sometimes as early as 4am, and I have never ordered their service. I live in Florida, my mobile # is with an Iowa area code, and this company must provide security services for some business in Decatur, Georgia. I contacted the company on 1/22 and explained the situation to a customer service rep, and I was assured that my # would be removed. It has not, it took less than 24 hours for them to contact me again early this morning.
