Raphael's Party Rentals

Review: Raphael's Party Rentals solicited our business for several of our events that we produce in southern California. We chose to use them for our Los Angeles event, but had enormous difficulty getting responses. Very slow. As we approached payment deadline, we could not get a total from our rep, so we were forced to overnight an average total ($7000) to their office as agreed to by their rep in writing.

We overnighted the check and our order was confirmed by the rep.

AT the END of the day, we were called and told that our items would not be delivered without a credit card payment. We asked them to tear up the check, and we were very angry but went ahead and were blackmailed into paying with a credit card.

The next day, they DEPOSITED the $7000 check in addition to having charged the card $7000.

When we confronted them about this, they clained the credit card charge was not a real charge, but our bank confrined it was.

We then kicked out the $7000 check.

AT that point, they charged ANOTHER unauthorized $7000 to our card.

This left us with $21,000 tied up by them, and caused many items to bounce.

We want to have ALL fees covered and an apology.Desired Settlement: We expect Raphael's Party Rentals to cover all fees incurred by their actions, including bank fees and NSF fees.
