Purchased a new 2002 619 and couldn’t find a single flaw. Incredible piece of equipment to say the least. Just purchased a new 620 in October of 2018. Incredible piece of junk. I had my doubts about this when I read all the main players of ranger moved after starting a new boat company. It is amazing how bad the quality is now that Johnny Morris took over. I will take a huge loss on this boat but I will part with it by August. The fiberglass finish was so bad they had a local guy try and sand and buff the glass out , some places looked better but good god he made some major scratches everywhere. This summer I will go back to searching out the best quality boat out there and part with this eye sore. I truly hate that one of the best quality boats ever made is now just a poor built boat with a good quality price. So sad.
I received my 2016 ranger 1780 vs in October of 2015. Since then it has been to Cabelas twice for a list of minor fixes and now sits in flippin Arkansas at the plant getting welds on transom repaired. As well as a big ding in the front just from hitting waves. I was told by cabelas, ranger would have my boat for a week. It sat at cabelas for 5 days and then was trailered to Arkansas where it has sat for 4 weeks. The main problem is I have no idea what's going on. The fiberglass shop and aluminum shop have a major lack of communication. And if your trying to get a hold of someone in the aluminum plant, forget it. After 2 weeks of the run around(2 weeks ago I was told last week, and last week I was told Monday, it's Friday, still no phone call and no idea) it's getting very frustrating to say the least. Kind of seems like there is no quality control on this boat. Little things like hose clamps on live wells and wiring was completely awful. Every bit of dealing with this boat had been a major pain.
