not having any paper to sign for the service they provide "doing business by word" holding car captive blackmailing insurance prolonging repair time
I had accident with my car *** on *** going north near ***, on December 6. They took car to the *** collision centre on *** and asked 1200 $ for service. They could`nt accept car because it`s 4 x more then other towing companies charge. They left with car and blackmailing my insurance to release it

This vehicle was brought to *** and when they could not get in touch with the insurance company, they advised us that the vehicle would have to be brought back when they could not get the tow bill approved by the insurance since it was almost midnight. The customer did not want to pay out of pocket as well. His vehicle was brought back to our compound for a couple days until the body shop received confirmation from the insurance company and they were able to get à cheque written up. The hookup fee for this tow was only 275$. With the cleanup, the kms and the 2.5hr wait time at the collision reporting centre (that he failed to mention) is the reason the bill came up to 1000$. It is very unfortunate the customer got upset but it was also very unjustified. We treat our customers with the utmost care and respect and would also like to offer *** a free tow that he can advantage of anytime.
