The customer brought a Mercedes Benz Eto the shop with complains that the car doesn't start and the key doesn't turn in the ignition switchRemoved shifter cover to select car into neutral manuallyChecked all fuse and power source to make sure there is no blown fuse and that power is
going to the EIS moduleChecked and found car needs ignition key/EIS moduleCalled the customer and informed him that the car needs a key/EIS moduleThe customer ordered a key and it was delivered to the shopTried to start the car with the new key but car still could not startCalled back the customer and told him the car still couldnot start and that the EIS module has to be changedI tried to order the module from the dealer but they said its a security item and the owner of the car has to bring the car in for it to be installed and programmedThe next day the customer send a tow truck to pick up the car to take to the dealer to ins tall the EIS moduleA few days later the customer called to inform me that the dealership told him that whoever worked on the car had damaged the instrument clusterI told the customer I did not remove or interfere with the cluster to do my examinationTherefore I am not responsible for any damage to the instrument cluster
