I have attached a couple of pictures of the customers motor.The round tab in the second picture is called a heat tabThis starts melting at degreesThese are installed on every motor so we can tell if a customer has overheated their engineThe center element will start melting out the hotter you get the motor, you can see the good heat tab on the left and the customers on the rightThe customers center of the heat tab has clearly started to liquefyThis shows us that the motor has been overheated after it was installed, whether it happened during the installation or driving I cant tell This voids the warrantyIt is shown, on the attached invoice from the customers complaint, on the invoice that overheating is cause for warranty to be voidedOn 9/17/we inspected the customers engine and notified them of their voided warrantyAt that point I ( [redacted] ) offered to write up an estimate to help them get their car back on the roadI let the customer know that I would pass my cost on to him for the best deal we could possibly offer anyoneThe customer did not want our helpThis offer is still available, just let me know and I will help you Thanks, [redacted] [redacted] ps: I attached a document from our supplier of the heat tabs for more info
