Ramada Inn Suites

Review: On the 9th of August my family arrived at the Ramada hotel for our family vacation. The problems started out small the following day with the original coffee pot maker not working. When returning in the evening, the second coffee pot did not work, and the next replacement was given to us with the insides still covered in soap. The next day is where the main problems started. When we returned in the afternoon to our room, we found that the door was left open by housekeeping and our belongings were rifled through. We notified the front desk immediately and we brushed off and told there was no manager on duty to help us. We waited an hour to hear back from them and they would not answer our calls at the front desk. I proceeded to call corporate about the matter and was told this matter would be looked into right away, I would hear from corporate no later than the 14th, from the manager of the hotel no later than the 17th, and that if the manager did not contact me that Ramada would intervene on my behalf to resolve the matter.

When we left the hotel later that afternoon, we found dirty bed linen thrown on my van from housekeeping. When my mother went to return the linens to the front desk, a lady in the lobby asked her what had happened. When she told the lady how our room was left open and our belongings gone through, the man at the front desk threatened to call the police on my mother.

I did not personally hear back from either by the 18th and called the 19th when I returned from my vacation. I was told there was nothing corporate could do since it is a franchised hotel and they will once again tell the manager to get in contact with me, even though he has already disregarded their first request to contact me.Desired Settlement: I would like to know why Ramada corporate went back on their word saying the problem would be handled, that I would be contacted by both them and the management of the hotel, why a breech of my families safety and security is no importance to the management, and how this will be prevented in the future to keep future customers and their families safe.
