DO NOT GO TO RAM MOTORS!! I was told I was approved with 1500 down. I came to the shop with cash in-hand on a Friday. The owner Ramzi lied to my face... First I was told indirectly that the car was a different price than what was advertised and that they couldn’t close on the deal since the only financing site that he had access to was DOWN for maintenance. He claimed that everything has to be submitted electronically and he couldn’t work around the system being down. He claimed that maintenance only happens on Sundays and proceeded to tell me about the other customers who couldn’t close because of the same system. He called two other people who uses different systems and told me that they couldn’t close the deal either. He then processed to tell me that other people are looking at that car and asked if I wanted to leave a deposit to which I told him *** NO I don’t trust him since his “system” is down how do I know that you won’t say I didn’t give you money. Then tried to say that the system could come back on Monday morning. So apparently they are the only car dealership who can’t sell cars on the weekend because of this system issue. Even gave me his cell phone number to call the next day when they opened .. I called multiple times only for him to text me 30 minutes later to say the system was still down. I texted him 3 hours later to see if the system was working and he never responded. I had a friend call the shop at the same time and ask about the same car and offered the same deposit I offered and he was told to come down to the shop, never mentioning that the system was down. Needless to say, I found a way better car with a better payment plan elsewhere. But I got a letter in the mail two days later that was dated 4 days before I even stepped foot in the shop that said I was not approved for a car. So this whole time, this crook never mentioned it and even tried to take my deposit money for something that he couldn’t get me financing for. DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
when the customer came in, the system was down. it was on a weekend. so we got uber for him and told him check back with us the next day if the system is up. well the system didn't come back up until Monday morning. we called his employer to verify employment and they said he just started the job. HE LIED ON THE CREDIT APPLICATION and stated that he has been with Citi group since December of 2015. we did call him to tell him the length in the job changed by almost 4 years and he's not approved with only $1000 down and he needed more down but he didn't answer and just decided to fill a complaint. if you have any more questions please feel free to contact us at ***.
Best customer service in tristate. I recommend this dealership and has good warranty on their vehicles.
very honest and truthful
It's really too much to type but this place is a total let down and I wish we never went there to buy a car. If you want to keep your family safe don't buy a car here they'll tell you it's fine but you'll literally be driving a death trap.
Good day.
×××NEVER AGAIN××××BUYER BEWARE×××
Ok guys... I don't know where the *** these 5 stars came from but whoever gave them good ratings must either be one of their "groupies" or they must be smoking dope. Be patient while I explain me and my wife's horrible experience with Ram Motors (Ramsey & Kemon C). My fiance and I decided to get rid of our convertible and upgrade to a newer car. We found Ram online and liked what we saw even though we were adamant about financing and instead, just pay cash. The dealership had nice cars, a few good deals, etc. So we drove approximately 30-35 minutes from Northern Kentucky to Batavia in hopes of finding a vehicle. Went to Ram Motors and found my wife's dream car (Cadillac), test drove it and during the test drive I found that the car needed new brake pads and rotors due to Grinding and slow stops (no other issues at that time). I pointed the issue out to Ramsey, Kemon and their mechanic who said "The car just needs to be driven a little to get the dust off the brakes because it hasn't been driven much." We demanded that the issues be fixed before we purchased the car. That day (Thursday) Ram told us that they will have the breaks fixed by that Monday before we paid in full. So my wife and I took their word (because their "Certified Mechanic", Ramsey, and Kemon reassured us). So my wife and I confirmed the purchase of a 2010 Cadillac CTS 4 106k miles (very nice car!). $500 deposit on Thursday (with mechanical issues fixed by that Monday). Monday comes, brakes not fixed ( mind you, we sold our other car and was using a rental to pick up the Cadillac). Ram reassured us AGAIN that the mechanic was not there all weekend due to family matters so the brakes couldn't get fixed. He told us that if we took the car that day (Monday) he would have the brakes fixed if we brought the car back up the following Saturday. We agreed and payed the $3k for the down payment (in total$3,500). Shook hands and Drove off the lot with our new car. Saturday came, my wife called Ram Motors and spoke to Amy before we made a pointless trip (said Ram was not there and also the mechanic was absent). GLAD SHE CALLED FIRST BEFORE WE WASTED OUR TIME AND GAS GOING OUT THERE FOR NO REASON). Eventually We got a hold of Ramsey and he told us that if we payed for the brakes (parts and labor) he will reimburse us $70...
$70 *** DOLLARS? ARE YOU *** KIDDING ME??!! SO.... we told Ram that it will cost more than that. He said fine just bring the receipt when you come back here and I'll see what I can do.
Cool.. so we got the brakes ( the rotors & calipers we didn't know we needed till the brakes were being installed.. so we got the rotors and calipers) from *** approx $200+ in total ( Mind you, it IS a Cadillac CTS 4).
Rewind... We had our TRUSTING mechanic to fix the mechanical issues (the only mechanic we trust). When changing the brakes, we found there there were only 3 BRAKE PADS On the car.... THERE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE 4 PADS!! (So you mean to tell me that they had the nerve to let us drive off their lot, on the highway and road knowing we could have been in danger?? Or better yet, DRIVING WITH OUR 6 YEAR OLD SON putting HIM in danger??!! WHAT IF THE BRAKES GAVE OUT?!?!) Kemon and Ramsey (including the mechanic himself) even told us that the mechanic checked the brakes (after the initial test drive) and said they were fine & needed to be driven due to brake dust. The reason why needed rotors and calipers is because the caliper was eating into the rotor... GO FIGURE. We took pictures and kept the old parts and receipt to show to Ramsey. Meanwhile, my wife and I were in the process of downsizing from a house to an apartment, working, and being parents (all while dealing with Ram Motors' BS) . So a few weeks later we go pick up the title to the Cadillac. While there we show Ramsey the receipt, pictures and old parts of the car. He told us he would pay ($100) half of what it cost to fix the car. (Mind you, the PARTS cost approximately$200+, that's not including the cost of labor). After my wife and I proceeded to negotiate for him to pay (at LEAST) $125, Ramsey refused to pay anything AT ALL!! My wife then got upset (which she had a right to because he owed us money) He was totally unprofessional calling her a *** and swearing to "Allah" that he wishes she was a man so he could beat her ***. As of now, my wife and I are satisfied with the car itself, just not happy with the company we financed it through. WILL NEVER GET A CAR FROM THEM AGAIN!!
We are definitely working on the process of lawsuit action against them. It WAS about money owed, now it's about PRINCIPLE!!!
