Review: My original order was placed on 12/**/2015 via your website (01/**/2016 [redacted]RALPHLAUREN [redacted]). Item was delivered no problem. The item order unfortunately did not fit and subsequently returned. Once the returned was received, I was contacted via email the replacement would be shipped and to please allow 3-5 days if the item was an exchange. A week went by, and I began tracking the shipment. After not being able to locate the shipment I called customer service and was told the item was no longer in stock. I inquired as to why I was not at the very least notified and of course here comes the dreaded apology. I conveyed my frustration but then asked for a full refund. The agent said the refund was processed on January **, 2016 and I should then contact [redacted] to locate my refund.

Upon contacting [redacted] the representative advise she was unable to locate a refund. She proposed a conference call and we contacted your customer service.

I was then told there was not a refund but a gift certificate awaiting redemption. I was taken aback simply because none of my transaction entailed a gift certificate. Your customer service agent then said a refund could be remitted however, it would take up to 30 days.

The amount was $129.99 and I just agreed to purchase something else.

I placed my order (ORDER# 4[redacted] PLACED: Jan **, 2016 SHIPPED: Jan **, 2016 ORDER TOTAL: $145.76 ) and received confirmation and that my order should arrive approximately January 26, 2016.

After tracking my order for the past several days and learning there was a [redacted] Smart Post ([redacted]) created (Weight 5.2 lbs / 2.36 kgs Total pieces 1 Packaging) there has been no further shipping information other than a label was created Tue 1/**/2016.

I called today and spoke with a Georice, who then told me "[redacted]". Maybe it was the inclement weather in High Point causing my delay. I then asked why do I have to track my shipment when clearly it was no fault of my own and moreover the responsibility of Ralph Lauren's customer service center to update their consumers.Desired Settlement: I would like the items I ordered shipped and a store credit for 25% of my purchase for the inconvenience.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I returned [redacted] and [redacted] refused to acknowledge my request of a refund. They waited 2 weeks to reply to my mailed stated request for a refund. And later acknowledged that they had issued a "Gift Card". I need my refund. [redacted]Desired Settlement: $105 refund. NOT A GIFT CARD TO FORCE ME TO ORDER MORE.

Business

Response:

I write in response to the

complaint filed by [redacted] (the “Complaint”) against Ralph Lauren Corporation (the

“Company”). [redacted] states in her

Complaint that she “returned mercy,. And [redacted] refused to acknowledge [her]

request for a refund.” She further

states that, two weeks later the Company replied to her request, acknowledging “that

they had issued a Gift Card,” but that she wanted a refund in her original form

of payment, not a gift card.

After further inquiry, please

be advised that a credit in the amount of $105.99 was processed to [redacted]

original method of payment on October **, 2014.

Review: Order product fron your online merchant, the price displayed one price; when the product went to the carte it displayed another price, I purchase the product due to limited items and was informed by one of your employees if I see something that I want and you are not open for business go ahead and make the purchase and they will make the adjustment. When I purchase the product at the incorrect price trusting that your word would be honored, based on the information that I was previous given, this did not happen, In fact I rec'd poor customer service, was placed on hold at least 4 times and was given conflict information as to why the price would not be honored.. Very disappointed with the service that I rec'd; and the lack of concern to take care of the customer. I feel that it was false advertisement. I also was left feeling that I was telling a lie. I was drilled as if I was a criminal not a customer.Desired Settlement: The price that appeared on the web page should be honor, I do not set the prices and I did not expect this from Ralph Lauren. I am a loyal customer and did not expect the service that I rec'd. I expect Ralph Lauren to make this right.

Response:

I write in response to the

complaint filed by [redacted] (the “Complaint”) against Ralph Lauren

Corporation (the “Company”). [redacted] states

in her Complaint that she was advised by a Ralph Lauren Customer Service

Representative that she would receive a price adjustment on an item that she

purchased online because the price listed for the item was lower than price she

ultimately paid when she purchased the item.

After further inquiry into this

purchase, we have determined the following:

[redacted] placed an online order through ralphlauren.com on February **,

2013. [redacted] contacted the Company’s

Customer Service department to report that prior to submitting her order, she

placed the items in her cart and that one item was seventy-five percent off,

and the second was fifty percent off.

The Customer Service Representative explained that all sale prices were

“up to fifty percent off” and that she had received the current sale price on

both items. The call was subsequently

escalated to a [redacted], and after further validation it was determined that the

second item purchased by [redacted] was due a price adjustment of $7.30. This price adjustment was processed and

returned to [redacted].

If you have any further

questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Response:

The reason I field this is because I disagree with what they where offering, was an insult since the price that was offer on the site was much lower. This is false advertisement. The price was not honor which appeared on the website and was not honored. I was first offer 10%, then 7.32, which was not the price on the web page.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Review: Hello, I placed an order (#[redacted]) on June [redacted] form the website. We received on the [redacted]. The order had 2 items. One item was fine and one item, the [redacted] Classic-Fit Mesh Polo (in Navy XL) turned out to have a couple of flaws. These flaws were discovered on 6/** after the packaging and return label were discarded. I e-mailed RL on 6/** and received a prompt reply on 6/** that I needed to use the return label. I have sent 3 additional e-mails stating that this flaw was discovered after the return label was discarded. I am shocked and insulted that I have not received a courtesy of a reply to any of these 3 additional e-mails. I have been a loyal customer to RL going back as far as 1989 and bought many, many high quality items from Dayton Hudsons in Grand Rapids Michigan. Over probably 150 bought items, this is the first one that has had a problem. The clothes wear like iron. This new one should be a simple return and exchange with no questions asked? I just want a return label and a replacement shirt sent. I am uploading all 4 e-mails. (sent June [redacted], June [redacted], July [redacted] and July [redacted])Desired Settlement: I just want my shirt sent back and new navy XL shirt sent. It is somewhat insulting to buy a $90 shirt and not even receive the courtesy of a reply. I just want a replacement shirt. This should not be too hard to accomplish.

I write in response to the

complaint filed by [redacted] (the

“Complaint”) against Ralph Lauren Corporation (the “Company”). [redacted]

states in his Complaint that he ordered two items on [redacted]. According to [redacted], one of the items was

flawed. [redacted] attempted to return

this item, but discarded the return label that accompanied the product. [redacted] further stated that he contacted the

Company on several occasions to request another return label so that he can exchange

his shirt for a replacement shirt, but did not receive any response.

Review: Provided services to the company on 3/**/13 and 3/**/13....sent invoices via email same day. Have not been paid despite invoices being past 90 days. Person that hired me advised on 5/**/13 that I would receive payment within 7 days as a result of my inquirees. On 6/*/13 , when I contacted the company to advise that I had not yet been paid, person that hired me advised my checks were ready for mailing but a W-9 was needed....one was forwarded two minutes after the request via email. Since that date emails and phone calls have not been responded to. On 6/**/13I contacted the accounting department directly and was advised my invoices have not even been approved for payment. Still no pament.Desired Settlement: Payment of outstanding invoices as well as late fee invoiceforwarded via email on 6/**/13

Response:

Dear [redacted],

I write in response to the complaint filed by [redacted] (the "Complaint") against Ralph Lauren Corporation (the "Company"). As set forth in his letter, [redacted] alleges that his company, Secure Concepts LLC, provided services to the Company on two separate occasions - March **, 2013 and March **, 2013 (the "Services") - and has not been paid for these services.

Please be advised that the Company has provided payment in full for the Services, as well for the late fees associated with these delayed payments. Specifically, payment was issued to [redacted] as follow:

Review: I received a gift from Ralph Lauren's website and I called to return the gift and get a store credit to pick out a special gift for my daughter, but I was told if I return it the person that sent my daughter the gift receives an email notifying them that there gift was returned via email. This is beyond tacky. I am now stuck with a gift I don't want because I rather keep the gift then let my family member know through email that I didn't like there generous gift.Desired Settlement: I would like the policy changed and refund.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I have pair of Ralph Lauren boots They say [redacted] inside of them and have a number [redacted]. The pull tab on the back of them has ripped. I have contacted representatives about the issue I have. All have told me in with more words that Ralph Lauren does not offer warranties on their products. I understand that this is perfectly legal but I have never heard of a company that is unwilling to guarentee their products be free from defect for a certain amount of time. What this tells me is that I could buy a product from a Ralph Lauren store and find a workmanship issue the next day and Ralph Lauren not be able to stand behind the issue and to find a resolution. I realize the opinion of one customer is not going to hurt a multi billion dollar company but I am a long time customer of Ralph Lauren and I will never buy another product from he company again simply because they are not able to stand behind their products. I believe this is unethical and ver poor customer service.Desired Settlement: Legally, Ralph Lauren does not have to do anything but I very much hope that this complaint finds its way to the right person who is able to resolve this issue. Please stand behind your products.

Business

Response:

[redacted] I write in response to the complaint filed by [redacted] (the “Complaint”) against Ralph Lauren Corporation (the “Company”). In his Complaint, [redacted] states that he purchased a pair of Ralph Lauren boots and that the pull tab on the boots has subsequently ripped. The Company has addressed his concerns as set forth below. On January **, 2015, [redacted] contacted the Company via email to inquire whether “all of the Ralph Lauren products are warranted for a certain period of time.” In response to this question, a Company representative advised that we do not have general warranty information. [redacted] did not provide any further information regarding the specific item he was inquiring about, nor did him otherwise respond to the Company’s reply to his initial email. As such, the Company was not able to provide him any further assistance. The Company would be happy to speak with [redacted] so that we can further understand, and resolve, his concerns. He may contact me directly at ###-###-#### or [redacted]. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, /s/ [redacted]

Review: I purchase a Ralph Lauren RLX golf windbreaker while on vacation in Ireland on June *, 2015. About 3 weeks later the waterproof seals on the armpits started falling off. This is when I first complained to Ralph Lauren about the defective merchandise. They were not able to provide me with a new jacket from the golf club in Ireland, so I was told to contact the golf club in Ireland about a replacement item. I contacted the golf shop in Ireland, and they were able to replace the defective item only if I cut the RLX logo off the back shoulder and mailed it to them. I don't trust them to mail me a new jacket so I am not willing to destroy the jacket I have by cutting the logo off the shoulder. This requirement to destroy the old jacket came directly from the Ralph Lauren [redacted]. This policy is ridiculous.Desired Settlement: I want a replacement or a refund, preferably a refund because I think all your products are terrible and I will never wear them again after this experience. Every sports wear manufacturer I've ever dealt with has great customer service, and they would immediately find a way to get me a replacement, or refund my money. Not Ralph Lauren. They think I'm trying to scam them so they require me to destroy the old jacket before sending me a new one. I paid 150 euros for this jacket and expect top quality, not defective junk. I was sold defective junk and I expect them to stand behind their product like every other retailer.

Either refund me my money, or tell your Ralph Lauren [redacted] to stop treating a customer so poorly. Here is the customer service (ha...that's a laugh) representative from London who doesn't know a thing about customer service:

Lima S[redacted], Regine (EU) [[redacted]]

Please contact her, and tell her that the following is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! [redacted]

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! CUT OUT THE FABRIC????!!! [redacted], you name it. They don't assume a customer is trying to scam them so force them to destroy the old jacket and mail them a piece of it. It will cost me $20+ to mail it to Ireland, and I should have to pay for that. Furthermore, give the HORRIBLE customer service, I have no faith that the new jacket will ever show up, so WHY ON EARTH WOULD I DESTROY THE ONE I HAVE??? YES, IT'S DEFECTIVE, THE ARMPITS AREN'T WATER SEALED ANYMORE, AND THE SEAMS ARE FALLING APART, BUT IT'S BETTER THAN NOTHING (BARELY)!!!

To

Whom it May Concern,

Review: Hello,

I made a purchase from the [redacted] (Store [redacted]) Ralph Lauren store over the phone here in DC on 11/** (I had also made a purchase over the phone from the [redacted] store that same, their service was excellent by the way and I received my item the next day.). I never received any type of order confirmation or shipping information and till this day no item. Also [redacted], charged my account twice for the same item as if someone was off by a few cents in their calculation. The actual cost of the item $236.96 and then there is a second charge from them for $237. I called the store and [redacted] happened to answer and really couldn't give me much info. She had to call me back, about 10 mins later she was able to tell me my dress was shipped, but could not tell me why I was charged twice for this purchase she tried to blame it on the other store, but I know for a fact that isn't the case, because of the amounts and the fact that the [redacted] store purchase was first. The thing is the pricing were no where close with the item I paid for in [redacted]. I am also left to wonder how could I receive my item from [redacted] so quickly and the store that is close to my house, I have yet to receive my item 5 days later. [redacted] made sure to let me know that I paid $15 for ground, bc the item was on sale. Okay, I also paid the same to [redacted] and received my items in a timely manner. Also, online there was free shipping, so her telling me that it was a sale item meant nothing to me. It was as if she was trying to tell me I didn't spend enough to be treated differently. This isn't her first time as she made sure that I knew she would be checking my address on my credit card before she billed me for my purchase. I told her thanks, bc I wasn't sure what she was trying to tell me. I am very disappointed and I will definitely not ever shop at the [redacted] store. The customer service is quite terrible and for the price of Ralph Lauren's items, I think there should be better service. The [redacted] store is by far the worst of the Ralph Lauren's stores. I have yet to be told why I was charged twice or why my item is taking so long or why I was never sent a confirmation email. I believe I was treated the way I was, because I decided to buy a dress that I thought was cute that I saw online on sale and was sold out. From the sounds of it, it seems that [redacted] discriminates based on what is being spent. I love Ralph Lauren and for the first time, I am truly disappointed. I am disappointed in having to pay $30 in shipping total and I am also disappointed that I wasn't able to get the black Friday promotions which is still going on. I think that should've have been honored as I was shopping online to begin with and only ordered from the store, bc my size was snatched out of my car during shopping. I am honestly no a happy camper with Ralph Lauren at this point in time. Thank you. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I think that I should be refunded shipping, refunded the amount that was charged double for one item, and the black Friday/current promotion should be honored (Amount off depending on how much spent and I spent over $500). Thank you.

To

Whom it May Concern,

Review: I bought a floor lamp cost 500+(including U.S. tax and shipping fee) without lamp shade delivered. The customer assistance promise to ship out a new one after receiving the revised address.

However, they didn't retain the lamp shade that I bought, nor did they inform me this product is going to be discontinued. When I request the lamp shade by new shipping address is U.S.A., the confused me that delivery can't be made beyond 7 days. Later, they told me the lamp shade is no longer available. After knowing that I am a foreigner, and the incomplete item has been shipped overseas (Taiwan). Returning may cost me even more than the price I bought the lamp. They still insist on returning "discontinued part" for credit; otherwise, there's no refund/partial refund. The only option they gave me is $100 gift certification, that account for my paid tax and shipping fee for the whole set product only. Meanwhile, the gift certificate can't be effective in Taiwan, nor do I plan to purchase the products of Ralph Lauren.

The company has not be able to follow the transaction contract; therefore, the current return/exchange policy can't be applied to this issue.

The customer service representatives excused their internal manage problems by blaming me for new shipping address delay.

It is the unique design and services that I choose products of Ralph Lauren.

I think the company has to cancel this transaction and compensate for their negligence on inventory control, misconduct service behavior and unreasonable returning requests toward customers.

p.s. I collect the products and ship to Taiwan by sea, and there was no one open the box delivered. And it also took me for a long time internationally.Desired Settlement: The company violate the contact, and sold me the incomplete product. I request full refund and assist me returning form Taiwan for free, or refund with stop.

Otherwise, the company has to partial credit back, if they can prove the residual value of the incomplete design delivered.

Or, suggesting a new lamp shade of other product line with my agreement, and send the shade to Taiwan for me.

Response:

Dear [redacted],

I write in response to the complaint filed by [redacted] (the “Complaint”) against Ralph Lauren Corporation (the “Company”). As set forth in her letter, [redacted] purchased a floor lamp, but she never received the accompanying lamp shade. [redacted] states she learned subsequently that the product had been discontinued. [redacted] claims the Company has insisted that she return the lamp to obtain a refund. [redacted] requests a full refund and compensation for returning the incomplete product. Alternatively, [redacted] requests that the Company send her a comparable lamp shade from a different product line.

On November *, 2012, [redacted] placed an order for two floor lamps. [redacted] received both lamps, but only one shade. [redacted] first notified the Company of the missing shade on February **, 2013. The Company asked [redacted] to provide an address within the United States where she would like the shade to be shipped. [redacted] did not provide the requested shipping address until August **, 2013. During that time, the lamp shade went out of stock. In mid-September 2013, the Company located the shade. The Company is currently in the process of obtaining [redacted]’s address in Taiwan and will be shipping the item to her in the coming weeks.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Review: This evening, I was browsing the men's section of RalphLauren.com and decided to purchase a black embroidered shirt and a pair of rock canyon shorts. The website offered the items at an additional 40% off when using promo code [redacted]. I added the items to my shopping bag and proceeded to checkout. I added the promo code, which deducted the additional 40% from the sale price. I then clicked the button "proceed to checkout." The next step was input all my billing information, which I did. I then clicked the button "proceed to checkout." I was then asked for my payment info, so I chose Bill Me Later. After I clicked the Bill Me Later option, I was asked to input my date of birth and last four digits of my SSN. I then had to place a checkmark in 2 separate boxes to agree to Bill Me Later's terms and conditions, which I did. I then clicked the button "proceed to checkout." After I clicked the "proceed to checkout" button, a popup window comes up with the following message, "Message from webpage: Error alert true: Automation Server cant create object." I tried this about 6 different times by closing my browser down and re-opening and unfortunately no luck. I then called their Customer Service number @ ###-###-#### and spoke to a representative whom told me she was actually a supervisor. Unfortunately, I dont catch her name. I explained the situation and she also instructed me to close out my browser and try again. I did so while she was on the line and unfortunately no luck. She advised me that there was unfortunately no workaround to correct the issue and the only thing she could do was submit a ticket. She couldn't take my order by phone because it was a Bill Me Later account. The only way she could take the order by phone is if I had a credit card. The representative was not rude, but she never offered to take my phone number and advise me when the issue was resolved. I dont think she cared whether I ordered my stuff or not, which is fine because now I have lost interest in the items. Secondly, I spent well over an hour trying to order 2 items from their website because of their issue. I found my items within a matter of 10 mintes and spent the rest of my time trying to utilize a service they claim to offer and that is the Bill Me Later feature. Unfortunately, I dont have another way to pay for the items. If Ralph Lauren does not to offer the Bill Me Later service to their customers, then they should just remove it from their website. I have purchased items from his collection for years, but never on his website. This was my first attempt and I am EXTREMELY disappointed and shocked that his website has this sort of glitch. Furthermore, I am even more upset that his staff has no idea of a workaround for this issue. Ralph Lauren is supposed to be one of finest and well known designers in the fashion industry. I just didnt expect a website that was inefficient or broken.Desired Settlement: I want someone to figure out a workaround to my issue and call me back to let me know its fixed, or if they cant fix it to where I can order via Bill Me Later from their webiste then I want someone to be able to take my order via phone using Bill Me Later. This is no fault of my own. Again, if Bill Me Later is too much for Ralph Lauren to handle, then just get rid of it!

Response:

Dear [redacted],

I write in response to the complaint filed by [redacted] (the "Complaint") against Ralph Lauren Corporation (the "Company"). As set forth in his letter, [redacted] attempted to purchase two items on the Company's website using the "Bill Me Later" option. According to [redacted], he was unable to purchase these items using the "Bill Me Later" feature, as an error message would appear each time he attempted to complete his purchase. He also contacted the Company's Customer Service Department, which was unable to provide an immediate resolution to this systems error.

Please be advised that this error has been addressed and corrected and the "Bill Me Later" option is fully functional. In the event that a customer has an issue using this feature, the Company's Customer Service Department can assist in completing the transaction. The Company would be more than happy to assist [redacted] with his transaction using the "Bill Me Later" feature. If he would like the Company's assistance, he can contact me and I will put him in touch with a Company representative.

Review: After making five calls to customer service trying to get a refund for a defective shirt purchased at the US Open, I decided to call the corporate office. I called and I was transferred back to the NC customer service office and spoke with [redacted] only to get the same results. I then called corporate office back and was transferred to the voice mail of [redacted] on 10/**/2014. I did not get a call back so on the morning of 10/** I decided to call back because I have been trying t get a solution since the week of 9/**. I get a man who will play a key roll in my complaint. Dispite asking not to be sent to the NC call center I am sent back there. I am told that research needs to be done with a call back and I am not happy. I call back demanding to speak with an executive in the corporate office and this same man who would not identify himself says that he is transferring me to Loss Prevention. A man named [redacted] answers and within a couple of sentences began to threaten me. If you don't stop calling, I am going to have you arrested I know where you work. I hang up and call back and get the same man at the switchboard and he send me back to [redacted] who continues with his threats using "F" and "MF" bombs telling me I know where you work mentioning the name of the company which I own and he did not realize.

Now I am very........ upset and I call back repeatedly. The man working switchboard will not identify himself and I am told that I am making up a story and stop calling. I eventually was transferred to [redacted] who says that there was no [redacted] in loss prevention and witnessed the male switchboard operator refusing to identify himself. He took my name and number and said that he would find out who could help me and have then contact in about 48 hours. I was determined to speak with the [redacted] that governs over the switchboard staff and continued to call and the unknown male would not identify himself and would not put me in contact with his [redacted]. He would allow my calls to ring for minutes at a time and pick up and hang up or put me on hold until I decided to hang up and call back. There were a couple of calls answered by females who claimed there was no male working the switchboard. I eventually was told by a female that [redacted] was the [redacted] and when transferred the call was intercepted by the same unidentified male operator. I was them transferred to [redacted] who when I asked to identify here full name and tile decided to hang up on me.

Needless to say my day was eventful and this went from 7:30 AM - 10 AM CST when I received a phone call from [redacted] from customer service. Now I will tell you what the original issue was. I purchased a RLX shirt from the US Open Shop at the US Open. I wore the shirt 3 times washing it twice in cold water, line drying it once and tumble drying it once based on the recommendations. After the second wash 90% of the vinyl lettering inside the neck has peeled and the outside letters are puckering. I asked for the shirt to be replaced or just provide me a refund on a non-Ralph Lauren refund. Why, I will tell you why. Although I am or was after today a big fan of Ralph Lauren (favorites RLX, Big Pony, Black Label) it seems that when I purchase from Ralph Lauren direct, there is an issue so I don't buy from Ralph Lauren direct, usually from [redacted]'s, [redacted] or sometimes [redacted]s. The last purchase I made direct other than the US Open I was accused of theft. I took my purchase to the North Park store in Dallas with my receipt and explained that due to a security breach my debit card had been canceled by my bank so the refund would have to be credited to the new card. The [redacted] gave me a very hard time and refused to process the transaction and when I asked for the [redacted], she give me the phone number for the Loss Prevention [redacted]. He was unsure why I was referred to him. I had to contact the corporate office to get this issue resolved and I was told I mis understood her intentions.

Customer service gave me the run around and refused to offer me a refund unless it was a RL gift card. Ralph Lauren is considered a Premium Retailer but the customer service is like [redacted]. Why would I spend thousands on Black Label to be treated like this - this why I buy from everyone but you.Desired Settlement: A call from a company office [redacted] to explain why corporate office employees are allowed to curse and threaten customer.

Review: I purchased a handbag from the ralph lauren outlet and within 2 weeks the metal clips on bag around the straps are broken.Desired Settlement: I would like to exchange or for my handbag to be replaced with one that is not defective. I paid too much for the purse to have problems with it so soon.

Response:

In response to complaint ID [redacted] about the Ralph Lauren handbag I have the following to offer: We are a luxury boutique in the [redacted], VA area that carries the Ralph Lauren collection products. This complaint references the Ralph Lauren Outlet so this handbag wasn't purchased in our store. There are two outlet locations in the area; one is in [redacted] and the other in [redacted], both in Virginia. You may want to redirect your concerns to those locations if she purchased the bag while she was visiting as I see she lives in South Carolina. I am sorry we are unable to assist [redacted] in this matter. We do not have a handbag with a replacement value of $398.00 as our handbags have starting price points around $1500.00
