They pulled on the front of the car ripped off the tabs that hold the grill and hood ornament. They glued it back together when I brought it into themOn Wednesday June 18th I had an appointment with Volkswagen Prince Albert, to fix the cable under the hood that connects to the release lever to open it. I have been unable to open my hood. They called me at roughly 930 AM stating they were having difficulty opening it; they would need my go-ahead to remove a lot of the front of the car due to the cost. I called them back to discuss this and they said at that time they had gotten it open. They rigged it up so they would be able to get in again once the cable was in without intensive labour. The first visit was 178 dollars.I brought my car back on Friday June 20th to replace the cable. This day they called again at roughly 930 stating my timing belt was very cracked and although they typically do not need to be replaced until 100,000 kilometers mine was in bad repair. They are currently 70,000 kms on my car. They asked if I would like it "thrown it in there today." I replied with at what cost. They said roughly 700 dollars. I then stated not at this time. [redacted] When I arrived to pick my car up at 11:30PM on Friday, the Volkswagen service employee suggested "I save up my money and give them a call when I wanted to change my belt." [redacted] I paid another $212 on this day to "fix" my car. Also where the hood lever is located within the car, the piece is also not installed properly. Thirdly, and most importantly while I was commuting to Regina on Monday June 23rd my hood ornament flew off on the highway. This was quite terrifying as it appeared parts were flying off my vehicle. When I pulled over I realized the front grill of the car was all very lose and not installed tightly or properly. I brought my car to my father and he stated that the clips have been broken. Rather than take the time to unscrew all of 4 screws/bolts it would appear a lever was used to pry the front grill. In pulling on the front of the car this way the entire front grill has been wrecked. It is obvious this occurred as the dirt surrounding the screws was not disturbed in anyway which would be impossible had it been properly removed. [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like the damage to the car replaced and returned to me in the condition I dropped it off in. The front grill needs to be replaced.
