as to complaint # [redacted] firstly [redacted] passed away 4 years ago and has nothing to do with my business. you have not contacted me by e-mail my e-mail is [redacted]. and my phone number is ###-###-#### as to the complaint, the customer needed rear rotors...
also and could not afford them because veteran program only covered minimal of his bill so he elected not to have all work done just enough to pass state insp because he is driving for [redacted] and would not pay any money out of his pocket, the front tires were so worn because of idler arm problem and he was told that is where the slight pulsation is coming from and he needed rear rotors also to eliminate the pulsating in the brake pedel . i do not run my business by removing parts and installing old ones! I dont know where that came from. he has never contacted me to fix the situation if you need a copy of bill to see work done I can fax it to you to remedy this complaint, thank you Brad R[redacted], owner Raley's Auto Repair LLC.
Review: I went to this repair shop because it was close to my home. I own a 2006 Tahoe, it is my only support of transportation. I'm a retired disabled veteran. I've had it for under one year from [redacted] from [redacted]. The SUV started shaking when I would press down on breaks. As a retired mechanic I replace the break pads but that was not the problem. Everything was basically new within the breaking system so I decided to have this auto shop (Raley's) repair my SUV. I was told by the owner of the repair shop that my 06 Tahoe needed new front Rotors because they were wrapped and that was thy the SUV shaked as it slowed down to stop. The Veteran Leadership Program help me with payment which was $538.99 to replace (two front rotors and Idler arm). including Emissions test and inspection ($64.24), hours work ($149.50 into total cost.Desired Settlement: The owner of the shop did not repair my SUV. He took off my new break cylinders (both side) and replaced them with old cylinders. The Rotors he put on were also old. I have the rotors he said were on my SUV (they not then), they are also rusted and very old. I cannot go to work in my Tahoe because the problem has gotten worse but I have to make money to survive. This situation has put my health in danger. The federal Government programs founded the money to have my truck fixed.
