Bill for 75$. I was never made aware of any fees; I have never been to this establishment, nor did I sign any agreements/contracts. I had an appointment with Dr [redacted] on Sept. 19, 2014. This would have been my first visit with an endocrinologist and the appointment was set up over the phone. I ended up missing the appointment because I never received a reminder; however, they did call after the appointment passed to let me know I needed to reschedule. I tried to call them back to reschedule, but no one answered. After several attempts of calling, I left a message and still no one has returned my call. I have since started seeing a doctor at a different location. I recently received a bill from Raleigh Endocrine for a 75$ no show fee. I was never informed of a fee over the phone and I never signed an agreement since I never stepped foot in their office. I do not feel the fee is fair since I was not aware of it, nor did I sign any contract. Desired SettlementPlease remove fees from account [redacted]. Business Response Patients are told when scheduled about no-show-same day cancel fees and it is posted on our website as well. Reminder calls are a courtesy only. Her phone number was verified so she should have received the call. If patients do not have machines and are not home when the call comes in - they will, of course, not receive the reminder. We have adjusted this fee off and patient will not receive any more statements. Her account has been marked, however, the she can never be scheduled in our office in the future.
