What would you have me send? By your own submission I paid the rent for December 2014 in full. We moved out January 15, 2015. We may owe rent for 15 days in January ($950 divided by 2 = $475). We do not owe $1132.00. Prove to us that we received a rent rebate in December. We did not!Additional clarification received by Revdex.com certified mail 8/26/15.  See attached file.

We assumed that we owed rent for 1/1/2015 to 1/15/2015. I ([redacted]) called the Raintree Office [redacted]) in 3/2015, and was told that we would not receive any refund from security deposits as the expenses from the eviction resulted in a zero balance owed. We seem to owe a prorated rent from 1/1/15 to 1/15/15; however, we will not pay a collection agency as we do not feel that our credit should be negatively affected by a simple miscommunication. I offered to pay the prorated rent to [redacted], Property Manager; but she said she was instructed by management that our only recourse was to pay the Collection Agency.
