Dr. [redacted] his staff of 5 vets, numerous professional technicians and office staff are the best!! Dr. [redacted] identified the reason for my Bichon 's dog bloody stool in Feb. and wanted to perform a colonoscopy. Foolishly, I wasn't ready for what I thought was too radical and was hoping for a cure by diet, meds, etc. Dr. [redacted] was right on his diagnosis. After 6 months with another vet and $1600 in vet and med bills, I was referred to UT small animal clinic for colonoscopy which was urgent because of blockage. What a nightmare; both financially, emotionally and numerous errors. I took her back to Dr. [redacted] who performed colon surgery to remove a benign tumor(was blocking 75% of her colon) and a 4 inch section of colon; my dog is like a puppy now. I had no idea that Ragland & Riley's hospital and vets had such expertise in performing such complicated and major surgeries. Dr. [redacted] fees were surprisingly reasonable. He and his staff have always treated me and my dog with compassion. He is an excellent vet and runs a well equipped hospital with the latest techniques such as pain mangement instead of reaction. Good Christian man who saved my dog. God Bless him.
