Dear customer relations advocate, I am responding in regard to the above referenced complaint number made by *** *** of *** Tile in Bridgewater, NJ Our representative, *** *** did talk to *** *** via telephone for the purpose of soliciting a sponsorship on WCTC
radio on 05/27/16. *** *** had been a prior contact on the account, but was unavailable. Delores confirmed herself as a part-owner of the business and office manager. *** continued her presentation and got the ‘O.K.’ to schedule and bill the sponsorship package on ECTC in the amount of $185.00. Our Sales Manager*** *** made a separate call to MS*** to confirm everything was correct, including that she had authority to make this decision. The order was fulfilled, and the schedule and invoice mailed on 05/30/16. day terms were extended, and the schedule/invoice included our telephone number and website, and a reply envelope. We were not notified of any problems When the account became past due, our collector, *** *** began trying to reach the customer for payment. *** answered the phone once, said he ‘didn’t do it’ and hung up without further explanation Since this account is months past due, I will offer to settle the amount do for $just to get it resolved. We will not contact *** Tile for future sponsorships as they now are classified as a bad debt in our in-house system. We do not report to the credit bureaus *** *** Radio America *** ** *** ***
