Thanks for callingI was hired to do some minor repairs to [redacted] homeWhen we opened the ceiling, we found extensive water damage to Mr [redacted] homeI told [redacted] that there was a lot of rot, both on upper and lower walls and ceilingWe then drew up a new contract with a different amount that over exceeded the original amountMr [redacted] told me to take out the book shelf and the sliding glass door and to apply the monies to the damaged areas that needed immediate attentionThe new contract reflected these changesNowhere in the new contract did it indicate the bookshelf or sliding glass doorThe job is 90-95% completedThe [redacted] still owe me over $10,The sliding glass door has been installed (labor and materials are still owed), and we also installed as a courtesy, because Mr [redacted] said he didn't have any extra money, a hardwood floor (labor only) and removed the old flooring for freeMr [redacted] also asked me to build a bookshelf which I told him was a extra because he had taken it out of the original contractWhen it was almost completed he started finding fault and he asked me to pack up and leave his homeI went to his home at his request to resolve this matterWhen I arrived, we started talking about the additional WorkThey started using vulgar language so I decided it was best to leaveThat night I texted him to arrange a morning meetingAgain we met with no agreement and he said he would call the Registration BoardI asked if that was the route he wanted to takeObviously he didn't want to rectify this situationIf you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me at [redacted]
Thanks for calling. I was hired to do some minor repairs to [redacted] home. When we opened the ceiling, we found extensive water damage to Mr [redacted] home. amount that over exceeded the original amount. Mr [redacted] told me to take out the book shelf and the sliding glass door and to apply the monies to the damaged areas that needed immediate attention. The new contract reflected these changes. Nowhere in the new contract did it indicate the bookshelf or sliding glass door. The job is 90-95% completed. The [redacted] still owe me over $10,000.00. The sliding glass door has been installed (labor and materials are still owed), and we also installed as a courtesy, because Mr [redacted] said he didn't have any extra money, a hardwood floor (labor only) and removed the old flooring for free. Mr [redacted] also asked me to build a bookshelf which I told him was a extra because he had taken it out of the original contract. When it was almost completed he started finding fault and he asked me to pack up and leave his home. I went to his home at his request to resolve this matter. When I arrived, we started talking about the additional Work. They started using vulgar language so I decided it was best to leave. That night I texted him to arrange a morning meeting. Again we met with no agreement and he said he would call the Registration Board. I asked if that was the route he wanted to take. Obviously he didn't want to rectify this situation.
