directly by R-U Ready To Travel regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Carmela B[redacted] had finally contacted me and my group via Facebook the evening before the day we were supposed to leave. She claims to had been back and forth traveling due to 3 deaths in her family. Ms.B[redacted] has stated that she would not be back to New York until August [redacted] and that is when she claims she will send a postal money order refunding our money. However, I was advised from my bank that we should not accept this form of payment from her so I reached out to her again asking if she could do [redacted] or just simply reverse our payments. That email was also sent to her on August [redacted] and I have not heard anything from her as of today. Carmela was very insensitive and unprofessional in regards to how she communicated that she could not book us a trip the day before we should have left. So as of now my complaint is still not resolved. We did not go on our trip nor have we gotten our money back!

My husbands 25 class reunion cruise was planned through this company. I believe around 30+ people have paid for their cruise in full and we were supposed to leave yesterday! However in October we started asking for some verification number or itinerary and there was nothing. As of right now I do not believe any one that paid has received a refund for their cruise. She has taken thousands of dollars and now we are going to have to pursue legal matters against Carmela and this company.
Review: I booked a trip to Jamaica with this agency, with is owned by [redacted] and paid her $825.00 for the trip. I tried contacting her via FB,email, telephone and have received no reply. I think that because I live so far away she feels she can steal/scam me out of my money.Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned since there the trip isnt taking place
