Norma's car did not have a Check engine light on after our final test drive, however, when she did come to pick it up, the light did come on before she got out of the parking lotCode Pwas retrieved which indicates an issue with the oil
control solenoid, I immediately pulled the car into the shop, removed the solenoid and inspected it, no visual problem could be foundAt this point I offered to take Norma to her home in *** (Shop is in Norton) She was going to eat breakfast with her daughter so refused the rideShe left with her daughter and two technicians inspected the car, pulled the solenoid again and cleaned solenoid and passagewaysCleared light and drove several miles, turned off car, drove some more, this all took approximately an hourBefore we could call Norma back, she returned with her daughterCar was running great, no light was on, she seemed ok with the resolution, then the next day (sunday) she left message on my phone and an email stating she felt she should receive her money back for the laborAs far as I know, she does not have a light back on, her car is running great, she has a new timing belt, water pump, and new drive belts all installed correctlyAND she received free diagnosis and repair for the Pcode which may or may not have failed or plugged up while car was in our possessionNorma has since stopped payment on her check and the bank charged me $feeShe has effectively stolen $from this establishmentI do not have the time or patience to deal with an unreasonable person, so I will not file any charges or try to obtain paymentI have seen "karma" work, what goes around comes around, and I believe this poor lady will get her just rewards, karma or judgement in heaven, whatever you believeAsk her if her check engine light is on now? Is her car running properly?
