Our company installed a new dispensor assembley for this fridge. My service technician informed that the part had fixed the problem and Customer seen him test it. Customer emailed me th next day and said the fridge was doing the same thing. I called him and explained the part is under warranty and... we would replace at no charge. I told him that the control board is the problem it is causing the dispensor assembly to malfunction. So I told customer that we would have to change dispensor assembly and control board. I told him he would have to pay for control board and not the dispensor. Customer told me he would not pay for part he said Samsung should pay for it. I told him he would to take that up with Samsung. I did not tell customer that he would have to pay the same amount for us to install new board and dispensor assembly. I told him he would only have to pay for new control board. Our company does not charge for a second service fee or labor if the problem is not fixed.all the customer has to pay for is the control board which is $98.00
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Please note that when I corresponded with Samsung that was not what I was told by their Rep. He stated that the part was not warranted and that I must deal with the vender. I have had multiple phone calls from Samsung that there was no warranty on my frig. or replacement parts. This is what prompted my complaint since my many telephone calls to Vendor's answering service was constantly full.
