At approximately 10:30am on 10/27/15, Mr. [redacted] (known as "the customer" for the duration of the response) entered R&R ACE (known as "the store" for the duration of the response). The customer approached the register to purchase several items....

After completing the transaction, he checked his receipt and noted that 2 of his items rang up as $34.99 each when he had believed them to be $19.99 each when he got them off the shelf. The cashier asked for a price check and another employee walked with the customer to the aisle the customer had found the items in. There were no similar items left on the shelf where the customer claimed he found the items. There was no price on the item itself, as the labels for these items are generally on the shelf where the item would have been setting. The customer stated that he had picked up the last 2 of the items on the shelf. The employee explained to the customer that the items may have been in the wrong place on the shelf, and that the items were not $19.99 each as the customer had previously believed. The employee informed the customer again that the price of the items were $34.99 each. The customer did not return the items. The customer then left the store.
