Review: In Sept, 2011 I gave R and K Landscaping a $100 deposit for landscaping work to be done. I contacted Randy in 2012 and he told me I should contact the mason directly for the mason part of the work. I called him again for the name of the mason leaving a voice mail and I did not receive a return call. This year I contacted Randy three times and left messages and did not receive return calls. I finally got hold of him and he told me he was too backed up and too busy to do my work. I asked him about refunding my deposit and he said he didn't recall a deposit and he'd have to know when I gave it to him. On September 13, 2013 I sent him a letter with a copy of the cashed cancelled check asking that he promptly refund the $100 deposit. The check clearly indicated it was a deposit for landscaping work to be done at a future date.Desired Settlement: I would like my $100 deposit back. I am owed this since he has indicated he is not able to perform the work.
