Review: RKC Construction owner Rick Crawford has signed the $8000 contract with me to build my home patio / deck for my husband Christmas present from me and he sold me top of the line product it cost $500 more than the average material and misled me that since is existing patio and do not need permit to rebuildHe changed contract after he learned I cannot read peoples handwritten document. He raised the price and changed wording(luckily I asked him back the first contract and all the paperwork the nice salesman gave me the first day he came to my house.)This whole project has been very unprofessional, disrespect and insulting by your installation supervisor treat me as a stupid person especially I told him that we need to save the pool fence for insurance safety purposes, They still installed a post right in front of the pool gate.Missing very basic safety installationeven I repeatedly asked him the safety of the product and the way to install (Whatever you pay whatever you get thats the way its supposed to be repeatedly)12 x 36' patio / deck all 4 post have no footing (its on the contract All post to have new footings - Extra Steel Aluminum post) but only used aluminum post jacket and used one inch nails to nail down Aluminum jacket into to paving brick for support, The post was very un-uniform 10' to 16' between each other and one post looked like it was damaged or ran out of materials used two pieces adjacent together.The rolling on top of the deck it was joke!!! Any person can just look at it will laugh......The material is not fit, Is improper installation and is pieced together by leftovers, wrong installed every inch of it the space between the railing due to unfit cutting is 4 to 8 wide. Most of the rolling post is secured with caulking glue to the surface all the corner is not adjacent to any surface or secured to the wall, even the 3 foot railing when you touch was wobbling............. The installation from 10:30am to 4:30pmDesired Settlement: Return my $1300 material deposit and $3000 I hire new licensed contractor to Demoed, Unsafe, Improper installation patio/deck fix all the damage to my house.
