Review: Mr [redacted] came to my house to fix frozen pipe in basement. He installed a piece of plywood and insulation to a basement window. Installed pipe insulation to hot water line to kitchen sink in basement. Then he installed pipe hangers on the copper pipes. in basement. Adjusted new adjustable steam breather on a vent at son's house in [redacted]. The bill states $100.00 for materials, Labor $675.00, Tax $50.00 total Due $825.00. I felt forced to pay this outrageous amount, called him and asked him how much service charge typically was $225 to come to the house, they I said you charged me two times for the exact same job because he did not have the appropriate supplies. He charged me also for the visit to my son's he didn't work for three hours. I called January 14 or 15,2015 and he said he would rebate some money, $225.00. I waited 5 days and called back and answer was I didn't have time. Called a week after and left a message and now he has yet to rebate me or call.Desired Settlement: I want to get at least $400.00 back because I have had so much trouble with him. He does not pick up the phone. I am so unsatisfied with the service and treatment he has given. I am 75 years old and feel I have been taken advantage of because I live alone and for my age.
