R. H. Builders

Review: On April 4, 2013 [redacted] contracted with me to replace an old roof on my house with a new one for the price of $15,400. It is now Aug 2014 and I am still waiting. Whenever I would call, they had an excuse for the delay "Its too hot", "Its too cold", "need more money" etc. To date I have given them $11,550. The last few times I called I got a recording, left a message, but, no one has returned my call.Desired Settlement: Honor the contract or return my money

Review: To RE: R.H.Builders. CT.REG.#XXXXXXIn October 2012 I contacted R.H. Builders to rebuild my breeze way at my house. I paid him in cash to begin the job. R.H. Builders started the work by putting in a floor and walls. The owner of R.H. Builders came back a week later said he needed more cash for supplies, so again I gave him cash. He picked up four doors and dropped them off and installed three, said he will be back. I waited three to four weeks before I called him again. He agreed to show up at the job during the week before Thanksgiving, but he did show up at the job again and did the trim work on the in side. Throw-out December I made numerous Texts and calls to R.H. Builders. Finally at the end of December R.H. Builders stated that he would need more cash to complete the Job. I sated that I had payed to R.H. Builders more than enough to complete the job, but I conceded and once more payed R.H. Builders to complete the job. After five months my breeze way is still not completed, and with my last contact with R.H. Builders I was told that if I wanted my job completed I would have to sue him. Unfortunately I do not have any receipts for the payments made for this Job. It is unfortunate that proper business conduct can not be expected with a simple hand shake.But I do not have any receipts for the cash I give him I trusted him to do the job. Yes.R.H Builders. Did called me and again I was told he would do the job.In two weeks again. Buy this time after waiting again I told him do not bother coming back I will fine someone else to do the job.And that was the last contact I had with this company.The job is finish by other company.In my opinion I will not use R.H Builders again the company is not very honorable and they do not keep there word.Please use thie info so no one else get screw by this company the way I did .Thank you for trying to help me with this problem.[redacted]
