Last year, I purchased a gift certificate/tradeI asked a special order of an itemWhen I mentioned I would be using my gift certificate/trade, the owner said that that's not allowed because gift certificate/ trade are only good for in storeI left the store and searched their website and took another look at the gift cert/trade slip and found nothing in print regarding the information he had statedI returned and explained my situation to the co-owner who called on him for assistanceI explained that I found nothing written down about special order exclusionsHe stated that people understand that when they get the gift/trade slipsI repeated my issue again and he insisted that though it's not in writing, it was understood that only merchandise within the store counts as purchase with gift certificate/trade slips
