To who it concerns,This is in response the complaint registered by *** ***, and our view of the circumstances.Attached is the bid for the project. If you notice in BATHROOM #2, it clearly states install shower enclosure. Shower enclosures can be bought by the owner at any hardware
storeInstead of providing my men on site the shower enclosure, Mr*** provided them with panels of marble. He gave them the materials to create a custom diamond cut and finished high end showerThere is a major difference between the two showers, especially in the cost Mr*** is/was also a friend of the personnel at NRG. This makes this claim harder to argue.First, Mr*** said he got a quote to redo the shower for 4k. He still owes NRG a good portion of that amount. However simple logic can resolve this issue. His 4k demand is almost half of the $estimate to remodel two full bathrooms. Surely logic would leave right minds to wonder how can a standard shower enclosure install only no materials be 41% of the original bid The reason for the big difference is that Mr*** wanted a custom shower, with high end components, and specialty fixtures. Not what was in the original bid.Because *** is/was a friend of the company, the men onsite attempted to install what Mr *** provided them men onsite. Mr *** never contacted our office with the changes in materials. At this point Mr *** is of the opinion that the shower will leak. Our office has no evidence of this accept a conversation with our filed supervisor, where another contract STATED it might leak. There is a difference of the shower is leaking and the opinion of another competitor.NRG has not charged Mr*** the additional 4k that the other contractor is asking for to install and design of this shower and had not planned on itWe were and are of the opinion that this custom install and or repair should come out of Mr ***'s pocket as we had only bid a shower enclosureWe went far beyond that in terms of costs and timeWe were happy to leave the remaining balance of our contract for him to use to get what he wants to try and save friendly relations
