I have a pre-arrangement account with Ortiz and I am not happy with the woman who handles the account. from the day I opened and account never sends me an update. when asked for updates the amounts doesn't match my statement balances. woman is not organized I have two accounts brother and sister, when I make deposits for both she mixes the account. woman comes in at 6:00 PM, always busy never has time for anyone. I hate the day I opened a pre-needed account which I would have opened any bank account. I am supposed to received a 1099 for my income tax. doesn't let you know what bank account my money is being deposit so I can check my balance and where the money is being deposit too.

Review: My mother past away on January **,2015. My brothers and I purchased services at RG Ortiz Funeral Home located at [redacted], for Friday, January ** and the burial was held on Saturday, January **, 2015. While planning services, we had [redacted], the [redacted] order 2 death certificates. I have not yet received the certificates. I called Ortiz Funeral back in mid to late February, and talked with the [redacted], [redacted]. His answer to me was "I don't understand why it is talking so long. I will contact my main office and find out what is the hold up". We verified phone numbers and exchanged contact information. I have not heard from him at all since then. I have called the funeral home several times without receiving a return call. It's now March *,2015 and no Death Certificate.Desired Settlement: We would like to receive the Death Certificate we purchased.
Review: This a funeral home that is in charge of the burial of my wife's grandmother.we agreed upon a price and it was clear that there was a burial plan paid for by the deceased.After everything was agreed upon and the contract signed, we paid extra $425 to include a Catholic priest, and flowers not covered for the plan.they have changed the price 4 times so far and now within hours of the burial they have come back to me saying that the plan will not cover another $1000.00 and if we don't pay the extra money they will change the terms of our agreement and move the body to a different burial site, so it feels like they are holding the deceased hostage while blackmailing the family for a bigger ransom.Desired Settlement: I expect to receive everything on what we agreed upon for the price that we agreed upon.
