Review: I sent this breeder a $500 deposit on a Cavalier Spaniel we had been emailing about. She then emailed me that she sold this particular puppy to someone else. I was very sad so I asked her to send me my deposit back. Now she refuses to talk to me or even answer any email about if she sent my deposit back to me or when she will send it back to me.

My name is [redacted], I help my mother out and we are a very small breeding business. ( Cavalier
King Charles Spaniel) Many of our clients are in need of a therapy dog, yet do not have the
hours or money to purchase them. We have been known to give Therapy discounts on a puppy per litter.
Provided our clients have the funds and best intentions of going through therapy dog training.
We are responding to a recent complaint regarding a deposit refund for a puppy.
I was contacted by [redacted] in regards to one of our Puppies the first week of June. She had good intentions of putting her new puppy through therapy training. However she did not have the funds available for the discounted purchase price. I agreed to accept payment upon [redacted]'s request. We agreed on two payments. She would pick him up with the last payment. After three weeks of waiting for the first deposit . I chose to place our puppy with a pre approved family. They were only waiting for Allergy test to come back on their daughter. Our clients go through an adoption interview prior to being approved.
I offered Miss [redacted] and comparable puppy along with an additional
300.00 discount to offset pet insurance costs for the first year. At this point I was concerned about the puppies
out 0f pocket health costs. My offer was sincere.
At first she accepted the offer. By the end of the same day, she had purchased an entirely different dog from a different breeder. Yet she continued to email me for advise. I politely asked her to contact her breeder for any additional advice. I told her I would cancel her check , no problem. However she had sent a money order. She specifically requested I cash her money order and replace it with another money order. She could not cash a check in her town without a fee.
My Mother takes the bus to the bank. I explained it may take a little bit to get it turned around.
She proceeded to email me daily or by daily. She even went to the extreme of emailing fake puppy requests. Thus wasting my time. This was all within a week of receiving her deposit. I feel she expected me to go to the bank the same day and return her money. She made additional financial obligations on the another puppy and began to become even more unreasonable. She made the complaint to the Revdex.com 7 days after I received her first deposit. Her first deposit check arrived on or about the date she was scheduled to be pick up her puppy and paying the balance.
During this time I also payed for his additional vaccines. After her complaint , I emailed her explaining
even though I had her money order, I need to wait and resolve the Revdex.com complaint. [redacted] explained I should
send the money order registered mail to maintain proof of her deposit refund. I followed her suggestion.
I mailed the check the same day that I spoke with [redacted] After I emailed [redacted] explaining the process and I was on the way to the post office. I received yet two more threatening emails regarding her contacting the AKC and elder fraud protection. I then had to email her requesting she actually read the entire email prior to aggressive actions via email. All of these actions, numerous emails and complaints were within a 14 day period. Some of these days were taken up by working with the Revdex.com and of course my very busy day to day schedule.
If I had mailed her a personal check for a deposit refund , thus disregarding her requests, this would never have taken place.
Sincerely
[redacted] and [redacted]
