RCH Surveys, LTD., promised to provide a recordable grant of easement document. Each draft that was delivered required approval by a lawyer. Of the two drafts sent, neither met the lawyer's legal standard. After the second draft failed to meet legal standard, I opted to work directly with the lawyer, not wishing to be a conduit between RCH and the lawyer, back and forth, accumulating charges at each end. I realized too late that the lawyer could have handled the full process. RCH did not share the fact that goind directly to a lawyer was an option. While I did agree at the offset to pay RCH Surveys, LTD., $800 for their services, in the end I do not feel the services asked for were provided. I did not obtain a recordable document from them. An attempt to negotiate final payment with the owner of RCH Surveys was rebuked. I have since paid the $800, in good faith.
