Review: I purchased an item from a Virginia company (Quinn's Auction) with no presence in Ohio and was charged VA sales tax. I notified Quinns and they said a refund would be sent but would take up to 2 months. It has been over 3 months and the person I have been dealing with (Dashiea [redacted]) said she couldn't issue a check and I would have to call Skip [redacted]. I have called him four times and he will not pick up or return my messages. I've been very patient and don't know what else to do.Desired Settlement: The only method of payment they would accept was a personal check and that is how I would like the $ 272.55 refunded.
Review: Having bid on and having received a "Won Notification" following the auction held 21Sep13by Quinn & Farmer Auctions on a [redacted] entitled "[redacted]", 30 x 38, Lot#[redacted], I have yet to hear from the auction house regarding this sale. After sending numerouse-mails and making phone calls to them, I have gotten no reply or response regarding thereceipt of an invoice and when this piece of art is going to be delivered. The [redacted], an-line auction company, has also not received a reply from their contact requests.The lack of correspondence regarding this item is unbelievable from an auction house thathas any sort of credibility or ethical standards for conducting business.There are several adverse complaints filed on line regarding Quinn & Farmer Auctionsbusiness practices and a lack of customer service response. This complaint should alsobe added to the file, and I expect a response from management as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: I expect a prompt reply and contact from management with a full explanation as to why allof my e-mails and requests for a return phone call have not been forthcoming and when Ican expect an invoice and the shipment of the piece of art that was won at their recent auction.

Spoke with [redacted] from the company and she states that the consumer was not a successful bidder and that is why the consumer did not receive an invoice. She also is going to contact the consumer.
