Quicken Tech

I will NEVER buy another Quicken product again. To be fair I didn't upgrade Quicken from 2008 until October 2015. In my mind if a product is serviceable, why trade it in?
At first I was frustrated because Quicken 2015 Starter Edition required a patch called the Mondo patch that needed to be installed in order to download. (Wouldn't it have been better for Intuit to have applied the patch before continuing to sell the product?)
Subsequently, I have been chatted with tech support twice. The last time was for an hour and a half about the fact that the backup account I pay for annually isn't working. The problem was not resolved.
Yesterday I had to update my checking acct. password, which Quicken now won't recognize. Being reluctant to spend another hour and a half on a tech support chat, I've reached the conclusion that I'm better off to track my spending on an [redacted] spreadsheet. I'm a type B personality, and this is the closest I've ever come to wanting to throw a computer out a window.
This product was the biggest waste of $30 ever.
