Quick Shine Car Wash

Review: On September 5th I drove my car to the Quick Shine Car Wash. I pulled my car up to the tracks as directed. Upon leaving the car wash I noticed my left front side mirror had been pushed in. Upon further inspection I found scrapes and damage to the left side mirror as well as the back left bumper.

I returned and spoke with the employee on duty. He told me that mirrors have been damaged before. He told me to return the following morning to speak with Wayne the manager. I did and he gave me his card. After filing a claim with my insurance company they told me that I needed to contact his insurance company. I spoke with Wayne and he referred me to the owner [redacted].

[redacted] returned my call claiming that he would not give his insurance information because they 'pay too easily' and his rates will go up. I have this recorded on voicemail. He refused to provide his insurance information or answer the phone when I call.Desired Settlement: I expect the damage to be fixed immediately. I have been waiting over a month and am trying to buy a new car. I need the damage repaired first.

Regarding ID [redacted]. The damage to Ms. [redacted]s vehicle is not something that could have possibly been done by our car wash. We have been in business for over 15 years by taking care of our customers. We are happy to pay for damage if our equipment is at fault. This is not the case with Ms. [redacted].

I refuse to give out our insurance policy information when there is no liabilty on our part. As most business people know, insurance companies will sometimes pay on a claim because it is cheaper than doing a proper investigation. This is what I was trying to tell Ms. [redacted] on her voicemail.

I am more than happy to meet with her insurance company representative to discuss the matter. Therefore keeping the emotion out of the conversation.
