I used Revdex.com as the main determination of which company to install my garage doors. Technician Michael of Quick Response Garage Door Repair installed two garage doors for me today. He was prompt, polite and professional. Explained everything and programed my car to work with garage doors. I thought the price was fair and I am 100% satisfied. I would recommend them.
Thank you so much for choosing Quick Response and we look forward to serving you again in the future.
I had a hinge on my door replaced by them a year ago. The experience was great with the technician Michael. In fact he came out again when the hinge broke a year later and replaced it for just the appointment fee since it had been so recently replaced by his company. Again, wonderful experience.
After a week or so I noticed for the first time that the middle panels on my garage door were not meeting as they had for the prior life of the door. So I reached back out to have them come out and look and fix whatever it was that they did to the door and instead of sending out the technician Michael who worked on the door, the owner, Craig asked if he could come by and take a look. Again, expecting the same customer service I had experienced ever other time I agreed to meet him at the house.
This was not the case. I told him the extensive adjustments that Michael had made to the door (adjusted and tightened all 4 springs, replaced the broken hinge, balanced the door, tightened all of the hinges and sprayed everything with the proper grease, etc) and showed him the large gap that had never been in my door. He immediately said the door is too old and it is bowing because of humidity and its age. I agreed that the door is old and that it has been troublesome over the years but that the quarter inch gap had never been there. He refused to even touch the door, he would not tighten or loosen any of the hinges his technician had adjusted which resulted in the gap.
He could not have been more of a jerk. He shut me down on every option I gave him to right the issue and he simply refused and quickly left. I explained time and again that gap had never been there and I was concerned for my door. I even told him I would have to have another company out to cure the issue and he told me "good luck". I have several garage related appointments each year because of my older door and will obviously be needing a new door in the future but Quick Response Garage Door will no longer be getting that business.
I will add pictures when I have a chance. Unbelievable that a business owner would act like that. I am literally shocked.
Mr. V,
I am stunned that you could post such a false review when we went so far out of our way to accommodate you. We have been in business since 2011 and have served thousands of customers over the years and have maintained an A+ rating with the Revdex.com from inception. On this visit my technician replaced one hinge, adjusted the springs and lubricated the door but none of those actions could warp the panels of your door. When I came to your home I patiently listened to your concerns and responded to them but clearly you didn't agree with the answers that I gave you and I never said "good Luck" when I left. You refer to me as a "Jerk" simply because I don't agree with you. I explained to you why there is a gap in between the panels of the door (the panels are warped). Your wooden garage door is 42 years old and has been in need of replacement for many years, I realize your budget constraints and the fact that you may not able to spend the money for a new door but we are not responsible for what 42 years of rain, humidity, hurricanes and Florida sun has done to your wooden door. In your review you state in the next to last sentence that you "obviously will be needing a new door" so you are fully aware the door is warped, damaged and in need of replacement. In addition you also state that I "refused to tighten or loosen the hinge bolts", this is because my technician had already tightened the bolts and loosening them would have made the problem worse, besides do you really want "loose" bolts holding your door together? We have a $79 minimum and again because of your situation we only charged you $59 in order to help you out. Now the fact that you are trying to say that we warped the panels on your door is outrageous.
The door had no giant gap in the middle of it when your tech came out. He finished his work the door has a huge gap in it. You come out and tell me my door is too old to work on and leave. Your company messed up my door and refused to fix it. Also, I paid $79.00.
You had to have a gap in between the panels because you had a broken hinge and the hinge is the ONLY thing that holds the panels together. I showed you that the area where my technician replaced the hinge was touching with absolutely no gap, in between that hinge and the next hinge the panel is warped OUTWARD which is which is causing the gap. Can you explain how anything we did warped a wooden panel? Furthermore all of the panels on your door are warped, did we do that too? As both my technician and I explained your 42 year old wooden door is long past its lifespan, is dangerous and in bad need of replacement.
I was given a two hour window the same day and they showed up on time. Repairman was courteous and professional. The work (replaced the springs) was completed quickly.
Thanks for leaving a review, it was our pleasure to resolve your garage door issue and we look forward to serving you again in the future.
