Review: This experience was horrible. Not only did the company patently lie about the proposal they sent over by assessing $145 extra in fees the day of my move, but when I brought this up to the [redacted] I was told to "[redacted]" and that if I didn't like it, the movers would leave. Given I needed to be out of my apartment and was slated to move that day, I had no choice but to use the service. Also, in addition to the outright misrepresentation of their pricing, I was instructed by the movers to sit in their car at both my old and new apartments so they wouldn't get tickets.All in all, a terrible experience, one that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Moreover, this type of underhanded, shady business practice has no place in the marketplace.Desired Settlement: At a minimum, I'm requesting all of the money in additional fees that I was assessed that were not in the scope of the company's written proposal. That includes an hour of travel time ($65), which was expressly noted in the proposal as 'included,' and additional stair fees of $60, which also was not included, and mattress fees for $20. I'm requesting a total of $255 back as I was quoted a proposal of $250 and I paid $505.
