Review: The work was completed over a year ago and we are still waiting for the Certificate of Occupancy. We have called numerous times and been blatantly lied to about its status. Many times, [redacted], [redacted], won't even return our calls.Desired Settlement: Obtain the C.O. from the town for the finished work.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
Sincerely,
Review: The [redacted] decided to throw out my screens knowing that I was coming for them. I was told that he didn't like to keep screens over 30 days but was never told that they'd be thrown out on day. I feel he knew that the screens could only be custom made and figured if he got rid of them he could charge me to build new ones at a "discounted rate" his business hours are impossible all I wanted was to screens repaired $100 or so no I'm gonna have to replace them for $700-$800Desired Settlement: I'd like two new screens

Response:
5/**/15[redacted], In response to the complaint lodged by [redacted], [redacted] had dropped off two 48” x 96” white aluminum patio door screen for repair on 3/*/15.The repair consisted of re screening the frames with fiberglass screen mesh at a cost of $110.00 plus $ 9.49 tax for a total of $119.49. A deposit of $20.00 was left at that time. When the repair was completed [redacted] was called repeatedly to come and pick up his screens..There were calls made on, 3/**/15, 4/*/15, 4/**/15. The only call returned was on 4/**/15. At that time [redacted] said he would be in the following day to pick up the screens. He did not show up and did not call. Subsequently two more calls were made on, 4/** and 5/*/15 with no call being returned. During each call, after the 30th day [redacted] was informed that if he did not pick up the screen that they would be sent to scrap as is our policy and is clearly posted above the desk where [redacted]’s repair ticket was written. The 30 days was 4/*/15. During the three calls dated 4/*/15, 4/**/15, 4/**/15 and 5/*/15 [redacted] was reminded of this and also informed of the business hours which are also clearly posted on the front door.On Thursday 5/*/15 the screens were sent to scrap. Clearly 60 days after the screens were left here.Again, Queens Screen is not responsible for and repairs left here for more than 30 days and now is completely disputing this compliant. If [redacted] would like his $20.00 deposit back he is certainly welcome to come and retrieve it.Sincerely, [redacted], [redacted] byQueens Screen Co.###-###-#### office###-###-#### fax[redacted]
