Review: On 12-13-13 I had purchased a used washer and dryer from NEPA Used Appliance. From day one it was nothing but an issue. The dryer had issues running it would run for like 10 minutes then shut off for a few minutes then start back up again and so-on. The washer only worked for a few days before it went stopped working. I called and called and they kept giving excuse after excuse saying that they would be out and never show. it took a few weeks before they brought another set out which surprise surprise they too only worked for a few days before they also broke. I once again called and called and it took weeks before they would make good on the warranty and came out bringing yet another set. The owner kept promising me because of the issues I was having that she would extend her normal 3 month warranty. That was the only reason I didn't insist on my money back. the final set they brought out worked for a few weeks without issues but then it too stopped working. I once again started calling and calling as the end of the original warranty started coming close they kept giving me the run around once the warranty ran out they wouldn't answer my calls or return my messages. I wound up having to contact a local repair guy and paid $160 for a new heating element for the dryer. I should have listened to people when they warned me she was just buying time for the warranty to run out but I believed that a persons word actually meant something. Unfortunately to her it did not.Desired Settlement: Ideally because of aggravation I would like to keep the appliance get a refund and reimbursement for having to get them repaired, however I would settle for just a reimbursement on the repair guy.
