I am in receipt of your letter dated July 26, wherein you are setting forth a complaint brought against our company by Ms*** ***This letter will serve as reply to this complaint
In July, 2016, Mr*** contacted our office
via telephone indicating that he would like to have his carburetor replaced on his generator without having to troubleshoot by us to confirm if in fact it was the generatorHe persisted that he only wanted us to replace the carburetorWe asked him if he Knew in fact that the problem was the carburetorHe indicated that he had already troubleshoot the problem and he was only asking to have the carburetor replacedPer his request on July 7, 2016, MrChad *** dropped off his Winnebago Suncruiser so that we can replace a carburetor to his motorhome's generator
On July 7, the carburetor was replaced per his requestOn the same date, the customer picked up his unit and we showed him his old carburetor part and confirmed to him that the generator was running appropriately at the time he picked up his unitHe went ahead and signed the Invoice and made a final paymentI have attached hereto a copy of the Invoice where it states that the carburetor was replaced per his request and no troubleshooting was performed to confirm that this was the only issue that his generator has
Approximately, a week later be contacted our office and indicated that his generator stopped runningWe asked him if he had replaced the house batteries as we recommended since his batteries had a low life span and it may create problems down the road to his charging system and including his generator_ Mr*** indicated that he had replaced the batteries at another shopHe insisted that his generator had stopped working and we reminded him that we didn't troubleshoot his generator and only replaced the carburetor as he requestedWe mentioned that we can troubleshoot the generator to confirm what other issues the generator may be having and there will be a technical fee for this service
Mr*** may be experiencing other issues and we cannot confirm until we confirm through troubleshooting
