I want to know if the "system error" has...
been fixed. If it hasn't, when will it be fixed. It is very odd that this system error occurred when it did.

How do they know it was an "isolated, one time event" if it was really a system error? I am not letting this go because they are obviously lying. Saying they "aren't charging an early temination fee" for a situation that never should have happened does not make the situation go away. Duane

An average of 35kWh per day...
(135,628/3,918) for 18 months (548 days) equates to 19,180kWh, or $191.80 at $0.01/kWh, not $170. A check issued to me or a credit issued against the AEP Energy account are the only acceptable forms of settlement, not a [redacted] gift card since it cannot be used to pay the bill they send me. The remittance must be for a total of $250 due to the inconvenience caused me, the time and effort required to even get a response from AEP Energy, and the emotional distress the BREACH of contract has caused.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2014/09/22) */
Follow-up response attached.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2014/09/23) */

Unacceptable form of payment. I've constantly informed AEPEnergy that a Prepaid [redacted] card is not acceptable because it cannot be converted to cash. It can only be used for discretionary purchases. To use it to pay a utility bill incurs additional costs, for example, in the form of fees. Plus it must be used before 3/15 or the remaining balance disappears. I am on disability, have very limited income, and need to pay non-discretionary bills. I need a Check or a credit issued to the AEPEnergy account for $250.
That AEPEnergy ignores my request for a Check or Credit to my AEPEnergy account is reprehensible!!
