I booked a reservation through *** on Feb. 5, 2020, to stay at the Quality Inn for April 23-27 and and paid in advance using my *** Card. Due to COV-19 concerns I cancelled my reservation through *** on March 16 and received an e-mail confirmation that it was cancelled. When I called the Quality Inn, they said it had not been cancelled and could only be done by Expedia. Plus, no refund. WHY??
I wrote a letter to *** on April 3, 2020, copy to Robert McDowell Choice Hotels International, the said Quality Inn, and the Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania. As of this date, I have heard from none of them.
I had a friend who made a reservation, same way, and received a refund.
I finally decided my efforts were falling on deaf ears,then today this friend suggested I write the Revdex.com. Thus, my email to you.
Please advise.
My debit card was illegally charged 250.00. Staff alleged that I smoked in the room and urinated in the bed. Both of the allegations were false and Seems like a fraudulent practice to cheat consumers out of money.
My husband and I booked two rooms for June 30th to July 1, 2018, as I was scheduled to be in the area for a business dinner. A few hours after checking in we realized there were no bath towels. When we called the front desk an ignorant girl named Mercedez answered the phone with a billigerent and indifferent attitude. She resued to look us up in the computer and told us that we would have to come to the front desk for towels as well as to bring down any soiled towels. We attempted to explain that we had no soiled towels as none were in the room upon our arrival. Mercedez was loud and obnoxious. We went to front desk where she continued with her unprofessional attitude and became even more verbally abrasive. Moreover, her body language or raising her arms and pointing toward our faces was shocking as she is in a customer service position. The next morning our toilet got stopped up. When we called the front desk we were advised that we would have to come to front desk to retrieve a plunger and plunge the toilet ourselves. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. Please do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
