This is a billing and customer service issue. I had a CPAP machine, that was not working for me. I returned it on 5/7/18. I also attempted to return $312.71 worth of unopened accessories that I did not order and was sent (in spite of them knowing I wasn't using the CPAP). The manager Alex said he could refund me. He came back to say the billing manager Ilene Lee would not accept the returns because it had been more than a month. Alex told me they typically accept returns within 3 months. Ilene was not available to see me so I asked Alex to have her call me, but never heard back. I have left numerous messages since and no one will return my call. The company continues to charge the monthly rental fee of $42.73, in spite of me returning the machine. I've disputed the charges with my credit card company. I also called my insurer, who is disputing an additional charge of $526 for the accessories.
Vendor solicited my CPAP durable medical equipment business, and I provided this vendor a precise description of what I needed: i.e., a *** tubing, visible at https:/***.
Vendor accepted my order, and instead sent an unacceptable knock-off imitation product. Order #*** date shipped 3/15/18. This was bait and switch.
I called the vendor to complain this morning at 9 am, and when I asked to return the junk they sent out, the vendor's rep stated he did not know if they would want it back.
Also, the representative stated he could not approve the return and shipment of the proper *** tubing, and stated that his manager or he would call me in a few minutes, or email.
The vendor did not call or email.
I will also raise this concern with the health care insurance company that pays for much of the cost of the CPAP supplies.
