ASKED FOR CERIFIED COPY OF UNDERWRITTERS CERTIFICATE AND THEY TELL ME THEY DON'T HAVE ONE WITH RAISED SEAL AND FILED WITH TOWN. AWAITING A MAILING FROM THEM, WHO THEY NOW SAY (ALTHOUGH 3 TRUCKS FROM ABCO WHERE HERE) THEY DID NOT DO THE JOB IT WAS SUB LET TO SANDPIPPER ELECTRIC IN ATLANTIC BEACH, NY THIS WHOLE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE A MESS FROM THE START. Review: [redacted] from Tom's Quality Construction hired to restore and repair my home after a fire damaged my home on July **,2012. He worked in cooperation with a company Service Master (which is under a separate complaint filed)The bottom line is that Tom and his workers failed to finish the job and also made several mistakes which he refuses to correct. In the job specs from Insurance Adjuster is a full steel basement door and screen door supposedly ordered 3/**, where is it. Refrigerator water ice feed hooked up to hot water, failed to return to fix for a month. When he returned he told my mother after going under sink he'd be back. Unfortunately, he caused a leak that was not discovered for 4 hours and ruined ceiling walls and carpet in basement. I had to hire another plumber to repair. The most unbelievable was the over the stove microwave under a cabinet installed and hinged side hits wall not allowing microwave to open all the way. There is also a hit list of so many more items to be fixed, repaired and completed it is to large to mention here. You call it after the fact but I have come to find [redacted]'s in unlicensed in Nassau County and Town of Hempstead. In addition, Building Department has no record of a permit being issued and or final plumbing, electrical or construction inspection. Without these completed I certificate of completion and occupancy cannot be issued and would never be able to be sold if wanted to. Finally, [redacted] states we wont complete because he has never been fully paid from [redacted] at Service Master. According [redacted] he has and the Insurance Company adjuster says all funds for reconstruction and restoration have been issued to Service Master. This also concerns heat and air conditioning and new vents and returns installed and the air conditioning and now the heat work improperly. I started contacting [redacted]'s with all issues right after leak issue May [redacted] 2013, he has never returned still claiming not being paid by Service Master. Service Master informed me back he has been.Desired Settlement: all issues as described above and on a punch list to be completed. If contractor has been paid in full everyone should complete the jobs and repair and replace what needs to be done
