they built a new chimney for me year ago and now we see that the mortar around the top of the chimney has many cracks in it and were told by a contractor that the top part of that chimney will need torn off and relaid not just patched its been leaking into my bedroom ceiling and some of the cracks you can put a quarter inthe contractor I had look at it tried to silicone the cracks to help in the meantime
