Our fence customer, *** ***, complained to the Revdex.com on November 8, 2014. We installed a black vinyl-coated chainlink
fence for him on November 5, 2014.
Following the installation he let our salesperson know of some problemswith
paint spray on the house
and downspout (as well as some small scratches) on
each side of the house. Our installer
had touched up the end posts there and apparently had not screened the area
properly. Mr*** also was
unhappy that we had to cut the landscape edging about inches away from the
gate post
Upon hearing this from the
customer, our salesperson went out to the house as soon as possible to correct
the problems--without, however, being able to reach the customer first She filled in the edging, and scrubbed the
overspray on the houseThereafter, the customer expressed dissatisfaction again, namely that
the edging fix didn’t look exactly right, and that the cleaning agent used on
the house siding had changed the color in that area. Further, our salesperson had not addressed
the black spray on the downspouts.
During my visit with the
customer yesterday (November 18), he showed me the problem areas. My perception is that these are very, very
minor issues. I explained to him the
reason for removing some edging in order to anchor the gate post, as well as
how the scratches had occurred on the downspouts (our post pounder sleeves over
the post and touched the spout). I could
hardly see black paint on the brown downspouts, nor could I detect the
discoloration of the siding.
Nevertheless, in order to settle things to the satisfaction of the
customer, I agreed to his request to reduce the price of the job by ten
percent. He called today to make his
payment by credit card, and also has said he would be contacting you at the Revdex.com
to let you know we reached an agreement

Review: Damage to my property.Desired Settlement: I want all the damage fixed or products replaced. I believe that a 10% discount would have been given to me. My co workers at school have asked me how the fence installation went and I had to tell them the truth.
