Review: On 15 March, I finally contracted Mr. [redacted] by phone to inform him that I had been informed by mail by his monitoring service that our home alarm system would not longer be monitored because they had severed their relationship with Q Security systems. Since I had not been able to contact him nor been contacted by him concerning this matter, I had made other arrangements for monitoring. I requested he immediately stop the automatic debit from my checking account. He informed me he would do so first thing Monday morning. I took him at this word. However the debit was still posted to my checking account on 25 March. He had not done as I requested and as he promised. I have now placed a stop payment on the account at my own expense. I called Mr. [redacted] on 26 March to inform him the payment had been processed and he owes me $16.95 for the debit and $20.00 for the stop payment charge. Since he did not answer the phone, I left a detailed message re the above and requested he call me. To date he has not called or attempted to correct the matter.Desired Settlement: Immediate contact and refund. Prior to this matter I had been considering changing my monitoring service because of non-response to service calls. Several calls had not been returned over the past year.
