The invoice looks like a bill and makes no claim that it is a solicitation until you fold over a tiny edge on the bottom that says "This is not a bill. This is a solicitation". If this company has sent out thousands of these invoices, I could see several businesses overseeing this tiny small print and paying for this solicitation. Again, the edge of paper that says it is a solicitation is at the very bottom of the page and is purposely folded over to try to hide it from the person reading the invoice. It is extremely misleading. I tried contacting the company by using the phone number provided and only received a message recording directing me to pay through their website (the phone message states it is: www.qcyads.com whereas the invoice says www.qcyadsinc.com)or to leave a message about wanting to advertise. This company is running a scam and hoping people won't notice the fine print.
I would also like to see their solicitation practices reviewed from a legal standpoint. I imagine they are making a lot of money off of this scam, and I would like to protect other businesses from being victims of it.
