My wife and I used Gregg and Pyramid Enterprises on a recommendation from our realtor when we bought our latest home in
The previous owner had added on and arctic entry that was elevated a bit and required sonotubes and a beam for supportBecause the ground slopes towards the house there, the previous supports had been pushed by shifting ground to the point of standing at almost degree angles rather than being vertical
The homeowner paid for the repairs as part of the purchase agreement and spent just over $on the project
Gregg came out, had some young guys dig holes, put in new sonotubes, and replaced the supports underneath but reused the long beam that was already thereA new one would have cost him around $
The beam was split on one end, cracked and warped, yet when I voiced concern, he said it was fine and that if I wanted to pay more for a new one and additional labor to replace it, I was welcome to do soHe also said he would wait until a winter had passed and if I still had concerns, to call him again
Well after the first winter, he came and looked, and whike visibly worse, he said it was still structurally soundI tried to convince him otherwise but he would not listen and refused to fix it
This guy got $for a job that cost him easily less than $in materials and a day of teenage labor, yet was too cheap to replace a $beam
I don't want to sue but I also want to let others know how cheap and shoddy the work isThe beam is even worse now, years after, and I will probably have to replace it within another year

Pyramid Enterprises LLC did repairs on the purchase property before close - the work that needed to be done: repair rodent holes in the garage, they were done, but the quality of repair is sloppyquite the eye sore walking in the garageAs for the other repairs, they did not clean up after themselves
