Customer satisfaction not met
I’m a senior with about a 20 handicap. In August of 2021 I had a fitting for the driver and 3 wood and ended up purchasing Gen 4 driver 3,5 & 7 woods. Very pleased with the performance. In December of 2022 I purchased the 0211 5,6 & 7 hybrids without a fitting because the 0211 clubs were not available at the store. Upon receiving and playing a couple rounds with the hybrids I found I could not get any elevation and was hitting everything right. Called PXG customer service and described the issue to the young lady on the phone. She suggested the shafts were probably too heavy. She set up a fitting and sure enough when I hit the hybrids with a 60 gram shaft the results were what I had expected. The hybrids that were configured for me by the PXG fitting specialist have 70 gram shafts while the woods previously purchased have 60 gram shafts. I was told because I did not go through a fitting initially there was nothing PXG could do. I was surprised with this response since the clubs were configured by a PXG fitting specialist and all the information I’ve since read in comparing 60-gram shafts to 70-gram shafts suggested 70 gram shafts were for the low handicap players while 60 gram shafts are for seniors. At this point I’m a very dissatisfied customer. Sales order is SO-893494.
