While Right Toyota has made an effort towards resolution, this matter is far from fully resolved. Right Toyota (Finance Department) has yet to successfully terminated the Lease with Bank of the West for the Highlander, nor have they successfully reinstated the...
Prius loan with [redacted] Dealership Services, in the agreed upon amount which was "the payoff amount" ($3819.45). Additionally, Right Toyota needs to return the Prius Certificate of Title to [redacted] and my license plate number needs to be re-established to the Prius. Due to the nature of this complaint, I do not feel comfortable resolving it with the Revdex.com until I am certain that the financial end of this complaint has been accurately completed, as agreed upon by Matt Winter, my husband and myself. Sincerely, [redacted]

and contacted the customer immediately after receiving it. In order to satisfy the customer’s concerns, we complied with all the requests detailed in the complaint except removing the documentation fee. We explained to the customer that the documentation fee is charged on every retail automobile transaction and is non-negotiable. We drafted all new paperwork for the customer to sign reflecting the revisions requested by the customer except for the documentation fee. The customer is satisfied with the changes.Regards,Zach I[redacted] Right Toyota General Manager
RE: Complaint ID#: [redacted] (Mr. [redacted]) To Whom It May Concern,We contacted Mr. [redacted] [redacted] immediately after receiving his complaint to discuss some of the details he provided which we found inaccurate. We are not familiar...
with the vehicle registration guidelines for the State of California, hence the reason we issued a 90 day temporary registration for the vehicle and why we did not process the permanent registration through the dealership. When the dealership issues a 90 day temporary registration we are very thorough in explaining that the permanent registration, in the customer's home state, is solely their responsibility. We explained that the temporary registration that we issued was valid for 90 days. In no way did we specify that he could wait the full 90 days before applying for his permanent registration in California, as we are only familiar with the laws regarding registration in the State of Arizona and nowhere else. We regret the fact that Mr. [redacted] has incurred fines, however, the dealership does not pretend to know the laws and regulations of any state other than Arizona. What could possibly be the benefit of that? We have been members of the Revdex.com for many years and we have always been willing to compensate a customer with a legitimate complaint. However, in this case, I find that the dealership has made no misrepresentation which could have caused Mr. [redacted] to incur fines registering his vehicle.
We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] that the service he received was less than satisfactory. When he came in for his first service 12 months after purchasing it on June 5, 2017 we performed an A/C flushed, flush injectors and clean the throttle body to try to elevate his concerns. The...
work performed was not covered under warranty because it was preventive maintenance, not repairs to cover failing or defective parts. At the time of inspection, no manufacture defects to the AC or the engine, power train were noted. Mr. [redacted] has an extended warranty that will cover all defective parts that fail but won't cover any preventive maintenance items. Mr. [redacted] drove the car around for over 2 months since the maintenance was performed and hasn't complained to us further about the vehicle not performing correctly. In order for us to perform any warranty repairs, we need to be able to duplicate the issues. Our mechanics have yet to been able to find any defective parts, performance issues on Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle. We strongly suggest he get a second opinion from any Toyota Servicing facility in the country. Although, we greatly appreciate Mr. [redacted]’s business we will not be able to give him a refund or work on any lemon law arbitration. Mr. [redacted] would have to contact the manufacture directly and request a lemon law arbitration packet to proceed with a lemon law complaint. We do not feel that the Mr. [redacted] was mistreated or taken advantage of in any way and hope that the Revdex.com after reviewing the documents enclosed will close the case accordingly. Sincerely,Right ToyotaJane D'[redacted]
