I purchased a gift certificate for a Purelogic system at, of all the trustworthy places, a school fundraiserThey have refused to install the system as specified on the gift certificateThey insist I pay them a $4,surcharge (~27%) to perform the installationI have had several other firms out and none can justify any surcharge to perform the work as requiredSays the sales guy: "well, the owner [of Purelogic] feels like since you're getting the credit""Wait, stopI *paid* for the 'credit'."
Then I said: OK, I get it, you're not happy with this situation for some reason outside of my controlWhat if we did a bigger installation, can I get a fair shot with that?
They then quoted me literally 40% higher prices...after my 'credit'...then their highest competitorIt is very clear that they think that since I've already paid for this install, that they can screw around with me and, essentially, extort me for additional moneyPretty sad since, as mentioned, this all started with a school fundraiserDon't do business with these shysters
