Purchasing Power is a wonderful benefit for me as an employeePurchasing Power was there to help me give my child a Christmas, during a very ruff financial part of my lifeHaving access to purchasing power helps me to feel secure knowing I have a way to provide things to my family that I need for low monthly payments
Most terrible customer service experience I've ever had! I spoke with their billing department finally after days of calls and waiting on hold for an hour on the final day The gentleman I spoke to was soooo unprofessional and should not be dealing with peopleI couldn't afford the payment they took from me two days before Christmas and wanted to work out some type of arrangement, he had the nerve to say "did you buy Christmas presents? Because if I hadn't I would be ablein this position and should be able to afford the payment!? " I asked him why was he asking me this it wasn't his business nor was it professional, and at this point can I speak to a supervisorThe supervusir got on the phone all wound up like she was ready to argue or something? She was just as rude an unprofessional as he wasShe pretty much "dared" me to call my bank an dispute the transactionI have NEVER EVER in my life had a customer service experience as terrible as this one! Please I would not recommend this company to my worst enemyThey are very overpriced, unwilling to work with you if you lose your job and will debit everything you owe them from your account at once! I explained that I had no problem with paying them what I owed them I was just playing catch up on my bills, and couldn't afford to pay the remainder of my account balance all at once since recently changed jobs due to an illness
Purchasing Power, LLC is a great site to purchase from, I love everything there have always name brand itemsalways come as items look on site or in catalog
I purchased a vacation package, It didn't work out for me because when I tried to add a third person to the cruise, the company required me to upgrade my room for an extra seven hundred dollarsSo immediately I called to return the vacation package, I was told that I would receive a return label via email.A week passed no email, I called and was assured that I would receive an email at the end of the day, still no email.I called the following Monday b/c they are not open on the weekends and I was told that I missed the day window to receive the label, I mentioned to the young lady that I talked to that I had called previously and was supposed to get an email so it's not my fault that I did not receive itShe put me on hold twice for over five minutes, when she got back on the phone I asked to speak to a managerI talked to a Julie who told me my request was processed on the 3rd of the month (today is the 17th) and she was puzzled as to why I never received the return label via emailI am very very dis satisfied as to how this was handled, and I hope no one else has this experience!!!!!
I always head a wonderful experience with purchasing power one time there was a misunderstanding about a washer and dryer even one of the top managers gave me a call and the misunderstanding was handle I truly love this company*** ***
Purchasing Power is a God cent ,when you don't have the cash on hand all you have to do is go to the website and purchase the items , with no hasseland its wonderful to have in the healthcare systemLove it
I've been a customer with Purchasing Power since 2004 (then it was the Computer Purchase Program). I've just read the few reviews on this site and I have to say that I am surprised at the negative experiences. As I've mentioned, I am a LONG time customer and I've spent thousands of dollars with Purchasing Power over the past several years, and thankfully...I've never had any issues. Only once did a shipment come later than expected, but the product was great! This is a great way to get items needed with payroll deduction. Yes, I would (and I have) recommend Purchasing Power to friends and I am still a loyal customer. Thank you, Purchasing Power!
I purchased several items via purchasing power. I knew it was over priced, but it was free credit. I didn't have a problems until last year. July 2016 I ordered a TV and it arrived broken. I called the very same hour to notify them. I was told a replacement TV would be sent out. I said NO! I don't want another TV as I'm afraid this will happen again. They tried to offer me 15% off. I said no. They supposedly created a return label and it was taken care of. They finally picked the TV up a month later after getting my payroll department involved and the TV cancelled so I thought. Here I am Jan 2017 and they started charging me for the same TV again since December. Several calls to customer service nothing but lies!! They put you on hold for 30-45 minutes hoping you will hang up. They don't return phone calls and tell you anything to get you off the phone!! I hope this matter gets resolved as I have got my payroll department involved and suggested the hospital terminate it's relationship with the company!!
I purchased order number [redacted] on December 9th as a Christmas present for my daughter since your website told me it if I ordered by then it would be delivered before Christmas. Apparently it was not in stock as indicated, and no one let me know, so I have spent 5 hours over the past week on hold, being given empty promises, told that it was a mess up because they didn't have it in stock and they would contact the vendor to get it shipped/ overnight prior to Christmas. I have spent so much of my time on this only to receive empty promises and poor service from employees, supervisors and managers. Now, at the 11th hour, I won't have this purchase to give to my daughter on Christmas day. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received. They lied on several occasions, and I believe they lied so they wouldn't have to deal with the problem.
I have been using Purchasing Power since August 2008. Over the years I have placed multiple orders with them, totaling close to $15,000 worth of items. So when I say that I am not new to this, know that I mean it. I know that the CSR's I am going to speak to have a very specific script of answers that they are taught to answer with and that when they say you can find all of your account information online they aren't kidding. It takes a small act of god to get any additional information from the CSR's. But all of this has been fine. I have never had to wait more than two weeks for a delivery. In fact, my most recent order was delivered just 8 days after having submitted my pay stub! I was quite pleased. That was until I found out that one of the items had been damaged. This was when everything took a turn for the worse.
I ordered a bundle set that included a gaming desktop and 60" TV. The computer itself was delivered via FedEx and arrived with no issues. The TV though, was shipped using Pilot Freight Services, and being that their distribution center was less than 5 minutes from my work, I made arrangements to pick up the TV directly from them as it would be far easier than trying to schedule a delivery. When I was in the process of setting up the pick, Pilot informed me that the box had been damaged during transit by what appeared to be crushing damage, but there was seemingly no damage directly to the TV itself. I made the decision to accept the TV upon inspection as I did not see any direct evidence of damage to the TV itself, but knew full well that there was still a chance that could not be ruled out until the TV was actually plugged in. When I got the TV home and plugged in, I found that there was extensive damage to the screen (multiple dead pixel strings and actual crack in the screen that was not evident until the backlight came on). I immediately contacted the 800 number listed on Purchasing Power's website that is given for damaged or defective items (though I suspect this is the exact same set of CSR's that I would deal with to place an order by the scripts they use).
This is where things got fun for me. The first CSR told me that because the items (the TV and computer) were ordered as a part of a bundle that they would both have to be returned in order to complete an exchange and that this process would take in excess of 7-10 business days. When I tried to explain that the TV was the only item damaged and that the computer, which shipped separately, was completely fine she simply repeated her script to me. I tried to explain that the TV itself barely fit in my car and that the computer was equally massive and would not fit in my car at the same time. On top of this I did not have time to run around town dropping items off at various shipping locations since they (Purchasing Power) consistently is inconsistent in who they utilize for shipping. The CSR stuck to her guns though about both items needing to be returned and that they would have the shipping companies schedule an at home pick up for me. I again tried to explain that only the TV, which shipped separately, was damaged and that because of my work schedule I could not accommodate an at home pick up. The CSR attempted to repeat her script a fourth time to me, at which point I cut her off and told her that this was completely unacceptable and that I needed to speak to a supervisor. I was told that she would take down my number and a supervisor would call me back in five minutes.
Five minutes later: no call.
Thirty minutes later: no call.
At this point, I called back, waited in the hold queue and asked to speak to a supervisor again and was this time told that the supervisor "was dialing (my) number as (I) called in" and would be calling me as soon as I hung up.
Five minutes later: no call.
After waiting for another 23 minutes, I finally received a call back from a supervisor (I love being lied to!).
The supervisor attempted to give me the line about both items needing to be shipped back in order to complete the exchange. When I made it clear that this was unacceptable and unreasonable, he asked to place me on a hold to see what he could do. After about 7 or 8 minutes, he came back on the line and said that he had gotten approval for me to just send back the TV independent of the computer and that a replacement would be shipped out after the damaged one had been received. I expected this, but when I asked how much longer it would be until my replacement TV would take, I was told 7-10 business days after the damaged TV had been verified as being received back. When I asked how long it would be until my replacement TV would take, I was told 7-10 business days after the damaged TV had been verified as being received back. When I asked how long itwould take to get the damaged TV shipped off I was told 1-3 business days. No offer of expedited shipping was even mentioned.
Everything is more expensive. so they more or less charge you more to cover interest that you don't have to pay. Also If you pay a order off a head of time it takes for ever to get them to stop taking the money out of your check! I am on the 5th paycheck(Bi-weekly) and they still don't have it right! I am hoping that they have it figured out before my next pay day. I was trying to pay it off before Christmas so I had the money to go out of town. I would never recommend them if you can afford to get what you want local do it! The customer service was very bad also. They put you on hold for long amounts of time and they are not in America or at least you can't understand them and they can't do anything to help it seems. They are friendly enough but when they told me they sent the stop payments to the company so they wouldn't take it out of my check anymore they didn't succeed in doing it and the payments kept coming out. The system that they use takes for ever. They told me it takes 20 days for the payments to post to the account then I have to call and get them to refund my money. here we are 2 months after and still fighting for my money...Goodluck!
